The book is being controlled. The same orders (bid and ask) are constantly refreshed even without trades taking place. When a sell goes through it’s usually at just above bid price so the buy order sat at top is not filled (our orders). So ask yourself, who is buying up the sells…..shorts closing possibly or other buyer, but somebody is happy taking them before letting an order on the book have them…….food for thought.
SO is out IMO, price action changed a few days back. There were 2 x 500k share trades at 41p on 4 April and a 1m share trade at 41p on 5 April. I believe this was stock being bought off SO at agreed price. I expect to see another 1.6m at 41p. Remember SO don’t have to RNS anymore as under 3 percent.
Volume is low and somebody is happy to buy stock above bid price on the book, now that is a big change to recent price action.
Likewise Draft, I have a life and its all been said already, just a case of continued patience here IMO.
Draft, good to hear that mate, patience paying off. As you know I have been flagging the value here for quite some time and my money has backed my words with a large position.
Only the start of the journey here IMO, wait until its really on peoples radar :)
Lets keep it real FFS.......Lenovo would not be buying open market!
There is a large buyer/buyers at work that's very clear, lets be happy with that.
Very interesting development indeed....Amazon following little old DEV into India edtech.
If anybody hasn't been able to join the dots here to date, this news surely must open their eyes.
The investment case here continues to get stronger IMO
Draft, I know you have held patiently here through the drop and its now being rewarded. IMO there are only blue skies ahead between now and spud, throw in another potential farm in as a bonus. You can see from Twitter that there are shrewd investors starting to load up, as sure as night follows day the herd will open their eyes and see the value on offer here. We are still below last placing price of 1.75p and also the price most of the big holders have paid which is higher again. Also worth checking the price of the BOD options.......its well north of here. The largest holders have held onto their stock during the drop, supporting the BOD to fight off cheeky takeover attempts, that tells its own story.
I don't think there are many high impact drills this year with a minnow partnering with a Major, I know for sure there is only one in a safe jurisdiction and proven basin with 40 years of sub surface drilling knowledge, with neighboring production fields and infrastructure to tie into. Shell own or have a stake in a lot of the surrounding licenses.......they know exactly what they have farmed into.......and so do I having spent years digging holes in the SNS.
Personally I took full advantage of the drop and now have a substantial holding. I haven't sold a share and have no plans to before spud when I will slice my stake at what I fully expect to be comfortably north of 3p.
Predominantly Gas. Have a read of presentation on company website.
Quite happy for this to creep up back to true value before the herd arrive.
Anybody thinking the company getting 2 million pounds invested at 10p is bad news must live in a strange world!
Very relaxed holding here, added more this morning and will continue to add at these levels.
Everybody has their own strategy and timeframes, mine always was and still is based around the Shell drills and seeing the value in all the licenses unlocked. All I need to enable that to happen is patience, something most traders don't have, but we are all different.
I've worked over 20 years in drilling and completions at the sharp end as a client rep, including with Shell and ConocoPhillips in the SNS. Ignore the noise, research the licenses and consider the cash position and Shell funded drills.
Buy, sell as you choose but don't do it blind or due to listening to noise from others...Research, Research, Research and patience.
Good luck to all, buyers and sellers.
Draft, definitely not a spoof mate. They have been approached twice now with two companies trying cheeky offers........no approached would be made if there was not good upside value.
The licenses and Shell as key partner have serious value and the offers have served to give DELT a big increase in profile.
Offer was rejected by the BOD........so only withdrawn as they were knocked back.
I'm very happy with that personally, If i had wanted exposure to IOG i would have bought IOG shares........
Most businesses have a firm policy of not recruiting each others personnel when the companies are working together. No poaching basically.
I feel very confident this appointment has the blessing of Lenovo or it just wouldn't have happened IMO. If anybody thinks DEV would risk upsetting their major partner I suggest they think again.
Anybody who can't see what's unfolding here needs to review their research IMO.
Very interesting timing for sure.......
Nice late buy print, 4m shares......70k at 1.769 from this morning
Interesting US involvement
I am looking where we are in 6 months, today is irrelevant for me
Well done to those who held on or bought more on the dip..........hold tight as the journey is about to get very interesting IMO!
Mike007, To be fair you are clearly looking at this from the point of view of somebody who initially bought in much higher. We have all been in that position and fully understand your thoughts, underwater in a stock is not a nice feeling. However, its all about value at price and at this price there is very good value.
The UK imports the majority of its gas, the majority of homes are heated by gas, the UK will need gas for some considerable time yet. Buffet is dipping his toe back in the markets......in would you believe it gas assets.
Large Insti holders are in from 1.85p from last placing so thats the first realistic target.
Poor sentiment here is the only reason we can buy at todays price, cash in bank equals mcap, the assets have not changed from what you were prepared to pay much more for, i would argue possibly better as you get the assets for free due to cash level with no debt.
Money is made on the stock market by looking forward...not back.
Big buyers happy to hoover up the small PI sells.......Its not rocket science to work out where this is heading but most don't have patience. Their loss my gain, I added again yesterday at 6.2, held for a year and bought from 1.4 upwards.
