I was thinking the opposite. While it may still go down on monday I think it will not go far below 2000p, and it will recover during the week if nothing else happens and tension will ease.

I think yesterdays sell off was mainly because of news that Iran might attack Israel this weekend, hence the sell off just in case this happens. If it were to happen it would mean WizzAir would be force to cancel all of their flights to Israel again, they only began to resume their flight schedules to Tel Aviv last month from several European cities.

I also think that this keeps the SP down as Wizz was the largest airline company operating to and from Tel Aviv. Now loosing most of that capacity and continuing threat of escalation would bring it down even more.

you are right, Mary is very very gifted individual. We all can just watch and learn. and still not come even close to a miracles she is able to achieve.

AS1 and others, just because you filter the guys who are bearish on THG doesn’t mean your shares are not going to go lower. I’ve been reading this and they seem to have a point.

I see this behaviour on here under different tickers. But just because you all post positive comments and how many ready meals and ice creams are on shelfs in Iceland doesn’t mean that the SP is going up. Its more or less few pence up and then go back down again and again. I know it is painfull to put your money in failing company but it is not the fault of the few people here that think that SP is going to fall back after it has risen suddenly.

Just wanted to say this after many days and weeks reading the same posts.

If you are like most on here in loosing position, I guess we can only wait and hope this will turn around. 18.4. is ex divi date acording to HL so your info is right on that. But 1p I will get is a very small plaster on a big loss O am currently sitting on. I will give it more time to managment to prove that they can turn it around.

can I ask how do you get an average price of 30p or less when the share price was never that low?

Nice work MadMat, it is a shame that the SP is half of what it was january 2020. The market is so cautious about airlines that even that company has grown significantly over the last four years and is still growing its fleet and passenger numbers are breaking records each month, the SP is half of what it was when company was half the size.

We just going to have to wait for the Wizz to prove its worth.

Today I went to visit one of the stores (Stevenage). It is very nice store, very tidy and the atmosphere was great. I spent an hour in there and only got around the half of the store. I would not say it is understaffed, and they were all very polite.

It gives you great shopping experience that for sure. You cannot get that kind of experience online or in Argos.

I am not that advanced in trading.

So don’t know how that works.

I only buy shares to hold for medium to long term.

Sometimes when I see opportuninty I sell or buy a few for quick profit but not very often.

This is my opinion only and the way I see it

The bank have increased the divident and will rather spent more money on buybacks as it reduces the shares that divident is paid to.

Should the share price double, than the bank may reduce the amount going to buybacks lets say by half (1bn) and spent another half on paying more divident. Therefore you would still have the same yield on your investment even when shares are double.

But for now that the shares are cheap. They give you yiel of almost 7% and buybacks are reducing the amount if shares.

So in future yares even the same amout payed for dividends will result more money paid for each share.

Rolls Royce results today shows slight increase in profit versus estimate and double from year ago and it share price goes up.

Lloyds profit increased to record and shares goes down.
