In fact the trade of EGX today is a long list of sells. I wonder if Henderson Global are sweeping in these shares from other funds that they hold and are not in fact a "trade" but a tidying up excercise and that is why they are not showing up? Perhaps if anyone out there has experiance of this they would let us in on the secret?
That is right, however, they now have 15.85 million shares, surely that shows some degree of faith?
Henderson Global Investors have topped up their holding to in excess of 12% now, its good to see that other investors are having some faith in this stock. http://www.investegate.co.uk/article.aspx?id=201211010700140422Q&fe=1&utm_source=FE%20Investegate%20Alerts&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=Announcement%20Alert%20Mail&utm_campaign=Energetix Group plc%20Alert
Another piece of good news from EGX, are the pieces now starting to drop into place for a move north? Only time will tell, what I don't understand at the moment is the large number of sells that are going through against the much lower volume of buys, has anyone else got any ideas on this? http://www.investegate.co.uk/article.aspx?id=201210300700158002P&fe=1&utm_source=FE%20Investegate%20Alerts&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=Announcement%20Alert%20Mail&utm_campaign=Energetix Group plc%20Alert Good luck all on board here!
This looks like good news and shows that the proposed development of this company is progressing as planned, with the finance now in place and hopefully good news at the end of the three month monitoring period this might start to move the SP northwards. Good luck to all on board here. http://www.investegate.co.uk/article.aspx?id=201210290700066982P&fe=1&utm_source=FE%20Investegate%20Alerts&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=Announcement%20Alert%20Mail&utm_campaign=Energetix Group plc%20Alert
From late on 28th September to last night there were some large buys in total over 1.64 million shares, today ther have been some selling in total 380,000, perhaps the overall good news from the financial report to the end of June has sunk in? One can only hope that there may be a gentle climb upwards but I fear this will be a long time coming.
What are investors views from these pages on this placing of shares. Looking at the Proactive Investor's web site they are saying the company is currently well overvalued. On a basic face to face that statement would be correct, however, they have not factored in the plus side of the approvals that the company has won so far,the agreement of terms with Carripion for the installation of these boilerstogether with the strengthening of the BoD and surely it is better for shareholders to provide additional funding than borrow from some bank [if they would part with any cash].
There has been a nice steady flow of buys here since 11th September, let us hope that this is the start of a nice steady climb north for this sp.

Andrew Tinkler, Stobart Group chief executive, said: "The decision is extremely positive for the people of Cumbria as it will drive the economy, boost tourism and safeguard over 800 direct and indirect jobs. Well Knottee, at last, planning permission granted. Perhaps because of the impending result is the reason why STOB kept quiet with our questions. I still say that I am disapointed with their office that they couldn't have come back with a "no comment at the moment" or similiar. Apart from that it is great news and hopefully will give us all a fillip in the sp.
I am not sure that this is the answer here, there have been some movement by AFF to move things along a bit, ie new board member, trying to get access to rail link etc. Perhaps this is a leak/gossip from on site somewhere and the market is picking up on it. Certainly at the moment the volatility of this sp is extreme, just wish it was one way and upwards! GLA.
I have emailed Stobart HQ and raised this very question, I have to see that I am hugely disapointed that no one has had the courtesy to reply to my question, I must admit I thought they were better than this. Even if they were unable to give an opinion it would not have taken much to have responded, then I am only a small shareholder.
I think this is one to put in the cupboard and forget about until early 2013. Having read the write up in M.O.S. I was gutted as I was away in Yorkshire and couldn't get near a computer to buy early Monday morning. Still, have managed to get in at 32p and hope the actual facts are half as good as the write up. LOL everyone on board here.
I agree and I think you have hit it right on the head re your comments about risk. I too am holding this for the long term, the holding I have is not great and to trade in and out on dips is too expensive. I think that there will be opportunities to top up one's holding but until the greater picture in Euro Land clears a bit then we are going to face some stiff head winds.
Well, I must admit the SP movement yesterday was a complete surprise. Is this the Market Makers trying to shake the tree? Does anybody know what is causing this SP to stay flat with the Company receiving over 55000000$? If this happens now, then we are going to need some outstanding results from the test drills at Nkout in order to move this price north!
Thanks for the posting with the Luis da Silva interview, it was most reassuring after seeing the sp drop back after the Liberian deal delay. This share I think will hang around these levels for a while now. The finalising of the Liberian deal I think will up the sp a little, however, the big mover would be later this year if some of the drilling that Luis da Silva was talking about comes good. I have always looked at share prices with a long term view [never been against taking some profit if the sp shoots up] as the end results can be much sweeter than compared to a short run.
I to was disapointed that the loss was as high, however, I think the crunch point will come over the next few months. If the Bank of China approve the extension then we would hopefully be looking at a continuing line of growth in the SP, if not, Watch out!
Sorry, I meant to say the total dividend for last year was 6p per share. That is 2p +4p, the grey matter is slowing down in the cold weather!
If you search "Stobart fundamentals" on this web site [LSE] you will get all the information you need. They do pay dividends, the last year was an interim of 2p per share and a final of 6p per share. This gives a yield on last year of 4.10%. The final divi "ex date" [that is the date after which new buyers of Stobart shares will not participate in the divi distribution] was 1.6.2011 and the payment date of that divi was 7.7.2011. Interim divi ex date was 9.11.11 and the payment of that was 9.12.2011. The year end results will be available in May this year. Hope that is a help.
It is good to see a non exec buying his companies shares, it shows that he thinks they are good value for money if the MM's don't.
