Hybridan today reiterate their forecasts of 2.15p EPS rising to 2.56p EPS.

They say PEG "count the majority of the world’s largest rolling stock suppliers as its customers. This time round, the Company has landed another meaningful order from Siemens on their contract for the Turkish State Railway."

Another large contract win, this time for £1.1m, securing further revenues for 2019 and 2020.

I've bought a few more here on the dip. Marked down on relatively small volumes in a quiet market, yet PTSG will report good H1 numbers in just 2 weeks on 25/9 given the trading statement:

Richard Sneller now has 25.43m shares, so has probably invested around £3.5m-£4m in ODX. He must be pretty convinced to tie up such a large amount in a £19m m/cap microcap!

"Somero Enterprises (SOM) had already disclosed that four of its six geographies enjoyed growth during the half year to June – up from three geographies 12 months earlier. But the official interim numbers helped flesh out the details – revealing particularly strong contributions from the high-tech, concrete-levelling specialist’s dominant regions: North America and Europe.

Indeed, these grew by 7 per cent to $30.5m (£23.7m) and 24 per cent to $6.7m respectively. North America’s momentum was underpinned by strong sales of boomed screeds and ride-on screeds. Optimism about this market isn’t without foundation: non-residential construction activity was solid, and customers’ project backlogs "extend well into 2019". "An energy firm minus the hassle of owning energy assets

Rather than betting on SSE and having your capital tied to the nuts and bolts of producing energy we can instead invest in a firm that skims a profit from energy use without risking capital on producing the stuff. I reckon energy procurement consultant Inspired Energy (LSE: INSE) fits the bill nicely because it acts like an agent connecting suppliers with customers. Well-known fund manager Mark Slater has a chunk of his fund’s capital in the stock, which is encouraging because he has a decent track record in investing.

Today’s half-year results are good. Revenue came in 33% higher than the equivalent period last year, cash from operations shot up 43% and adjusted diluted earnings per share moved 13% higher. The directors pushed up the interim dividend 19%, which I take as a message that they are confident in the outlook. Reading through today’s report, I get the strong impression that the management team is going for growth in a determined way. So far, financial progress has been achieved both organically and via an acquisition strategy and both methods look set to continue.

The current share price around 20.65p leads to a forward price-to-earnings rating for 2019 of just over 12 and the forward dividend yield runs around 3.5%. I think the valuation is undemanding and the stock looks attractive given the firm’s growth potential."

A Southampton-based consultancy has detailed its involvement in an acquisition made by Petards Group, an AIM-quoted developer of advanced security and surveillance systems.

Jamie Lane, based in transaction services at Smith & Williamson, which provides accountancy, investment and tax advisory services, was appointed by Petards followed a tender for due diligence.

RTS Solutions (UK) and its parent company RTS Solutions (Holdings) (together RTS), a specialist transportation software engineering company, joined Petards following Smith & Williamson's review of the financial aspects of the target business.

Lane, who works at Smith & Williamson's South Coast office, said: "Following a competitive tender, our remit was to look at RTS' financial performance and its assets and any liabilities, providing proactive support to Petards through to completion.

"RTS figures showed it was profitable and debt-free, with a history of excellent cash generation. More than half of revenues related to recurring software licences, maintenance and support contracts, which provided further trading confidence.

"Speaking generally, it is essential in any due diligence work that nothing falls through the cracks, so the potential acquirer is confident of the target’s future prospects and past performance."

Leeds-based RTS provides web-based safety-critical applications in real time to customers involved in operational, engineering and maintenance programmes. Its principal customers are currently Network Rail, which owns and operates the railway infrastructure in England, Wales and Scotland, and Network Rail’s major contractors.

Petards' eyeTrain provides digital on-train surveillance and helps maximise safety and performance for train-operating companies and train builders."

"Since I first became bullish on the stock back in November 2016, laser-guided equipment manufacturer Somero Enterprises (LSE: SOM) has done very well, up 70% in value at yesterday’s close.

When something rises this much this quickly, it’s easy to assume that it’s now become too expensive and/or that dividends would be fairly meagre. With Somero, this simply isn’t the case.

Before this morning, you could pick up the shares for a decent 13 times forecast earnings. These very same shares were also predicted to yield a little more than 4.8%. While today’s “in line with expectations” interim results for the six month to the end of June — and the market’s overwhelmingly positive reaction to them — mean the stock is now more expensive, I think Somero looks a great buy for most small-cap enthusiasts.

The US and Europe continue to prove fruitful for the company with sales growth of 7% and 24% respectively contributing to a 6% rise in revenue (to $45m) compared to over the same period in 2017. While these territories represent 83% of total revenues, it’s encouraging to learn that Somero saw “balanced growth” across its footprint and product categories. Pre-tax profit increased by 13% to $13.6m.

In addition to reflecting on how new products were expected to support Somero’s long-term growth ambitions, CEO Jack Cooney stated that current market conditions and momentum in its business should translate to “another successful year of growth” for the company.

And those dividends? Today, the company saw fit to double – yes, double – its interim payout to $0.055 per share. While its connection to the construction industry means that the share price certainly isn’t immune to political and economic shocks, this kind of confidence on the part of management is hard to ignore.

Growing profits, solid finances (net cash increased 13% to £20.7m by the end of the reporting period) and a fast-rising dividend — I remain a fan."

Yep - great finish, with new highs and lots of small AT (institutional) trade buying at prices up to 432.5p.

New all-time highs tonight, and a great close with a £29,500 buy at 2950p.

Nice tick up at the close, and looking healthy chart-wise overtaking the March highs. Hopefully back to the all-time 24p highs soon.
