Yep - a Buy just now at almost 65p - a full 5p above the current 60p published offer price. Stock must indeed be extremely scarce.

Agreed - great to see net cash increasing nicely to £1.6m since the £1.46m at the interims - and to see TST staying profitable for the year.

And two very interesting comments from the CEO - firstly when he says "we are optimistic of an even better outcome this year".

And :

"We continue to not only keep to but exceed the goals in the roadmap we put in place to navigate the business through into 2022."

FYI a couple of extracts from today's N+1 Singer note, which emphasise the conservative nature of their current forecasts - note that they are expecting "material" upgrades:

Given the dynamic situation around Covid-19, we expect regular updates throughout the course of the year and will adjust our forecasts accordingly as visibility over ordering patterns increases."

"we are only including in our forecasts firm orders for Covid-19 related products. As such we make no provision in our formal forecasts for further Primestore orders or for the Kantaro biosciences quantitative antibody test, where EKF has exclusive UK and European distribution rights. Either or both could be sources of further material upgrades this year (and potentially beyond)."

Great to see the Naked Trader buying yesterday afternoon into FNX - here's what he said:

There seems to be some cash, and if profit forecasts are right it should be making some nice profits in the next two years and I wonder if it could pick up a rerating."

I suspect their EPS forecasts are undercooked. To Apr'21 I suspect the COVID-related contracts will continue to contribute for longer than allowed for in the forecasts, and possibly through some of the period to Apr'22, whilst the core businesses should imho recover momentum faster than the relatively stale pace allowed for in the forecasts.

And of course that's without any further earnings-enhancing acquisitions.

A new $4.4m acquisition from cash - I like the sound of this one.

Though relatively small, as a "leading online brand protection software provider" it has the feel of a product which can be rolled out across CNIC's existing client base, and using its own IP too:

"This positions CentralNic as the European champion for corporate domain portfolio management and online brand protection, as well as one of the top three global leaders available to serve customers in any country".

And in addition, there's a new and impressive-sounding "reciprocal reseller agreement for domain names and brand protection services" with Novagraaf, who are "one of the world's largest trademark and patent filers". They manage "more than one million IP assets on behalf of customers, and represents many of the world's major trademark and patent owners" - this could be another big source of new revenues for CNIC:

SourceBio International plc (LON:SBI) said it has landed a supply agreement with an unnamed high street retail and pharmacy group to provide lab-based testing services to support the roll-out of coronavirus (COVID-19) tests across UK stores.

The company has inked an initial 12-month deal with the offering being trialled initially across a limited number of sites before scaling up.

SourceBio currently provides COVID-19 services to the NHS, the Department of Health & Social Care and private healthcare customers.

"We are delighted to be working in partnership with a major UK high street name to support the roll-out of testing service for their customers across the UK using our ISO 15189 accredited laboratories,” said SourceBio chairman Jay LeCoque in a statement.

"Accurate diagnostic testing is needed more than ever given the new surge in COVID-19 infections in the UK and increasing evidence that many more people may have COVID-19 without showing symptoms than has previously been thought.

“We believe the provision of highly accurate, gold standard, fit to fly, and test to release test results made available on high streets, will be highly sought after and provide much-needed peace of mind to those who still need to go about their daily lives and eventually travel abroad.”

The broker Liberum said this announcement and the recent Oxford Nanopore deal “should reassure investors that SourceBio will play a key role in PCR [polymerase chain reaction] testing in the UK, a market that continues to be much stronger than we had expected”."

Rising again, and buying coming in now at above the published offer price (137.62p compared to the 137p offer price). Usually a very good sign.

Allenby have this morning issued a brief update on MWE after the recent contract wins. Not much to add, but the conclusion reads well:

A £2k buy at 70p has raised the price 5.5p.....presumably very little stock around.

Boots have been providing COVID-19 testing for a while now already, so I suspect it's not them - unless SBI are perhaps providing a better quality test than the incumbent, or a second source of supply.

There are those new 7-year highs.....

Not only did this weekend's SCSW have a rather nice write-up on CNIC (concluding Hold/Buy - most of their updates are usually simply Holds), but CNIC were also one of Techinvest's top tips for 2021, with a very bullish summary.

CNIC remains on a very modest rating compared to most tech stocks and to its North American sector comparators. Much more to come here imho.

Very good news today - I wonder if Stifel's appointment is the precursor to a listing in the USA?

KAPE would be rated at a significant premium to the current multiple if so - likely multiples of the current multiple :o))
