Chelverton Growth Trust has a £637,000 stake in TST (21% of its portfolio). It's just released its results to 31st August, and had this to say about TST:

"Touchstar continued to develop its focused and streamlined business. It reported an improving position in its recent interim results and has built up strength in its balance sheet. It is expected that the results for 2021 will show further progress and that 2022 will really start to reflect the strength and quality of the revitalised business."

The news yesterday that the Government is scrapping the HS2 rail extension should imo work in RNWH's favour.

Instead, the £96bn of funding for routes in the North and Midlands will comprise upgrades including electrification rather than new build. This would appear to be in RNWH's sweet spot, particularly as regards its recent acquisition in the latter area:

With 0.12p historic EPS now forecast to 30th September just gone, REAT are on a backwards-looking P/E of 13.8.

Allenby were previously noting that REAT were on track for 0.17p EPS this year including a full year of Fidelis. Even if this gets reduced to say 0.15p EPS that would be a current year P/E of just 11.1.

(1) Marvel Gold (CAPD's third largest investment holding) has just IPO'd its Tanzanian Graphite business called Evolution Energy Minerals in Australia. Theshares were up 200% on the debut. Marvel remains the largest shareholder with 30%, and CAPD owns 2.3m shares or 1.5%. CAPD's holding is therefore now worth around $1.5m. A nice option to have. Importantly this should lead to mining services work in the future when it goes into full construction/production etc etc.

The ASX announcement dated 12th November details the top 20 shareholders, with CAPD holding 2.374m shares and the EV1 shares trading at AUS$0.62, so another AUS$1.5m of asset value conjured from nowhere. Very nice work:

(3) The additional value created above is likely to have pushed the listed & unlisted equity stakes above a $60m valuation for the first time - almost 30% of CAPD's entire m/cap!

(4) And some positive news for CAPD's MSA Labs in Canada..."We will be working closely with New Found Gold Corp. to build a new laboratory that will support Newfoundland and Eastern Canada. The ‘Atlantic Provinces’ are seeing increasing investment in gold exploration and development, with drill programs returning some promising high grade results.
The new lab will include a PhotonAssay unit, the groundbreaking new technology which has delivered more accurate results for the ‘nuggety’ gold found in this area, as well as delivering much faster turnaround time on results, in a environmentally friendly replacement for fire assay."

Good Investor Meet interview with the CEO just now. A few highlights hastily scribbled down:

- all three divisions are growing nicely now
- gained 5 new antenna customers, exceptionally good progress/unusual in that space
- developing a new 5G product
- water: keen to emphasise the recurring revenue service model which provides 20% of revenues
- distribution: new project initiated for tethered balloons with good visibility for the next 18 months
- prospects for an acquisition sound more promising than previously
- expect 15% profit growth from every additional dollar of revenue
- 5G growth is really starting to kick in now
- growth will come from all three divisions
- Q4 is again expected to be "a good quarter"

Good to see CAPD's large investment in PDI back at its highs now, up 9% overnight to AUS$0.25 - this holding alone is now worth around £19.4m by my calculations (over 12% of CAPD's total m/cap):

And of course gold has surged again and is now up to $1,863, which has to be good for CAPD's clientele.

with revenues, profits and EPS all accelerating somewhat from the H1 results.

The outlook is confident in achieving a "good result" for the full year, and with Q4 normally being a very good quarter MTI should at least meet expectations.

All three divisions are now trading well - most importantly the 5G potential is really starting to come through, along with recovery in RFIDs.

Net cash of almost £7m continues to rise and represents more than 10% of the m/cap.

MWE are looking very strong going forward for some time to come given the world's need for 5G, RFID, water and defence-related tech.

Excellent finish to the week, up 3.5% today.

Marketscreener has Slater Investments with 6.04m shares. He now has 15.015m shares, so has added around 9m to get to 5%.....

The Naked Trader reported overnight that he'd bought more CNIC....

"I added some more Centralnic CNIC - did this live at the online seminar as I was trying to explain how to use DMA and managed to get some at the then sell price which saved me the spread of 3 points. (Come to the Dec 1 seminar to show you how it is done).

Centralnic CNIC was a company we discussed at the last advanced seminar. So that's two positions I have in it now.

It's a global domain name provider and it also helps companies to monetise from the assets. Its next trading statement should be decent with revenue and profits booming and it is also buying up complementary companies. Potential lovely isa long-termer."

Shore Capital have today issued a 20 page note on "10 small cap winners from decarbonisation".

INSE is one of the stocks picked (alongside SUR, which I also hold).

Shore Capital forecast 1.3p EPS this year, rising to 1.5p EPS next year - with 0.3p dividends. They conclude:

"Valuation. Whilst our forecast stance is currently set on a very conservative basis, reflecting the continuing recovery of the business from the pandemic and current energy price concerns, we see strong potential for upgrades in due course driven by a return to secular growth trends leveraged by the new business opportunities alluded to above. We believe that a FY22F PER of 11.4x (EV/EBITDA 8.4x) offers an attractive entry point with this potential. House Stock."

Shore Capital have today issued a 20 page note on "10 small cap winners from decarbonisation".

SUR is one of the stocks picked (alongside INSE, which I also hold).

Shore Capital forecast 7.8p EPS this year, rising to 8.4p EPS next year - with 2p and 2.5p dividends respectively. They conclude:

"In our view, Sureserve, which provides safety compliance services and improving energy efficiency for social housing clients, has increasingly strong ESG qualities including: Group activities being focused entirely on carbon reduction or health & safety; the Group itself became ‘carbon neutral’ in FY2020A, due to subsidiary Everwarm’s carbon credits; it employs 166 apprentices and has active community outreach initiatives."

Interesting RNS just out - Matthew Orr via Killik and Co. has taken a 3.55% stake in DKL, i.e 19.02m shares:

Great to see from this morning's RNS that the company and shareholders' interests are aligned, with option exercise targets set at the current share price (rather than zero cost), and challenging targets before vesting of £20m turnover, £5m profit and £60m installed capacity.

And most interesting that SCE have taken the opportunity to issue these as soon as there was a dip in the share price. I suspect there is rather a lot of potential news flow in the background which will be finalised in the next 6-12 months.
