The pay issue is key Malik. It’s simply way out of kilter with the size of the business. Just read the balance sheet! It undermines trust.
That said, I can see the market opportunities here and I can see things recovering if they make it through the turbulence in one piece. So why milk the company dry now? Rewards should follow top growth and profits.
Thanks Malik
Christina seems more credible - and cautious - than DC. She went into good detail, but 2021 first half will still be tough. She was honest about some price flexible discounting where as DC had previously said everything was according to a "rate card" (suggesting fixed pricing without individual customer flexibility). This reinforces that the senior team at LVCG are able, trustworthy and hard working. But I still can't work out how a fledgling business can justify rewarding its chairman so much. Build this business up, create trust with shareholders and DC will enjoy great - and deserved - rewards.
If you think they're overpriced now Helx, why the hell did you buy in at 20+pence then?
Fair points deepjoy but read last line of main statement in the RNS. A more detailed update to follow for full year results.
Don’t worry. TW will fund a negative spin on this. Meanwhile, there is long list of crooks on AIM he should be highlighting, but for some reason he doesn’t.
Roley bottled it, simple as that.
Exactly. If they make a joke offer you just sit it out. ARCM can do that. There's a lot of value here and the game is to release it.
My favourite quote was by Ronald Reagan to his Washington aids in the midst of a crisis - "don't just do something, stand there!". Sometimes better to do nothing.
I also briefly noted that China guy on twitter this morning. Extraordinary! Clearly either (i) has OCD - obsessive compulsive disorder, (ii) is disaffected for some reason and consequently hates NvS and ARCM or (iii) he's been motivated to talk the company down by parties who want to suppress the share price. Take your pick.
Indeed Graham
No copper major new tier 1 copper deposits for 5 years.
Lack of copper supply to meet future demand.
AA already saying they're back in Zambia and playing good corporate citizen
I think this turn out well. The big question is the price! Remember NVS talked about a 10 to 20 bagger last November for the whole business when the share price was 2.5p.
We'll see but still looks exceedingly cheap here.
Darola - yes there are some seemingly very able senior people at Live Company. Trudy and Sarah come to mind. But I wonder how comfortable they are with this latest RNS.
Thinking further, whilst I think the company needs to focus and I see no clear strategy or competency to justify this new foray into events sponsorships, I wouldn’t have felt so appalled if DC had awarded himself a reasonable bonus off delivered results.
But it shocks me that a man who claims to be so aligned with shareholder interests should pay himself such a large portion of the total turnover.
Yes Girdz, what happened to that amazing deal that so nearly happened late last year? What happened to the Dentsu deal? Where are we on game sign ups.?
Is there a big issue with low market demand/ interest, too much competition, the quality of Bidstack market execution or the bids business model losing traction? Or none of these? Honest answers please!
Is this conflict of interest legal?
£650k for doing your job!
Despite high ownership of shares, DC has, it seems, absolutely no interest in his shareholding.
Those who said his focus was on fleecing the company were right. The high salary for a £1million T/O company was a clear warning sign.
Was this company a going concern when the directors signed off on it?
The business model for the bricks business is interesting. Supposedly fast payback, constant stream of rented IP/ assets etc. Decent market demand. They were confident to keep building new sets during Covid.
We appreciated the challenges for a business like this during Covid.
But no-one signed up for this sponsorship nonsense!
