Aprogerson:Even if there is an NDA that prohibits divulgation of data, it would be good to know. At least we'll know why.
I also think clarity is required on the references to tier one or more tier one assets in presentations. As you ask, what indeed is the basis for these references?
Anyone know the sales channels for these consumer sets? Does this take them into competition with the likes of lego? Would be interesting to know the level of profitability versus other parts of the LVCG portfolio.
I agree Roley. It will tell us competitors are getting the upper hand and executing better. But I also hope you are right.
Do we have work with AA? Are other serious players genuinely interested and can’t we wait to open up the opportunity after EA expires? Or am I being stupid?! It’s just that long term demand for copper and lack tier one discoveries suggests there is more than bluster in Nick’s words regarding other enquiries.
Competitors are making good progress on the numbers. Hitting the revenue target isn’t about the state if the industry. It’s about the quality of the strategy and management’s ability to execute.
What’s the chairman’s role in the Bids silence? Isn’t investor relations something he should be overseeing? Anyone have any feedback in Donald Stewart? He’s been around a long time, so presumably has good grasp of the business.
Small Holding - you mentioned that "Nick is normally cautious with predictions". Is this view based over the long term?
This is interesting because the character of leaders is important - especially with AIM stocks. There is a lot of exaggeration form many AIM leaders. NvS strikes me as measured. So making written reference to tier 1 assets(s) in a presentation is hugely significant?
Small Holding. Good post! We haven't had any bad news as you say, but how good is the news we have had? Interesting to hear the perspective of you and others! If we have tier one(s), then I would have expected a higher SP instead of the recent SP decline given the longer term outlook for copper and lack of tier 1 discoveries in recent years. I noticed at the start of NvS's recent presentation he used tier 1 in the singular, but at the end he used it in the plural! Seems no-one really knows for sure.
Good to see MB10, but hope these rentals translate clearly into revenue good numbers. DC has said publicly that the rental rates are based off a rate card so I assume that means pricing/ margin remain healthy. We don't want to see margin dilution on something that is niche and profitable.
6p would be a major fail Graham! Big disappointment. If you let people know that is all you want, you'll lower expectations! If we have tier 1 assets here, then the price should be significantly higher imho. But as always, it does depend on what we actually have.
Thanks very much for sharing. Good that DC sounds optimistic - and this was recorded after the latest European/UK lockdown news. I like the idea of the investor event - get under the skin of the sales team because that is from there that the growth will secured. But didn't know anything about it! Maybe I'm not on the right mailing lists!
