Gushe - I think if you look at AC's share purchases you will find he's down quite a lot compared to what he paid. He is down over �10k on his spread bet as well.

Couple of thoughts PA was a little sneaky when he ruled out further shareholder dilution - he was technically correct as this starts off as a loan note but it will end in dilution (although it was difficult for him to answer these types of questions ) It will help fund the project in the early years of production allowing for more profits to be distributed (all be it to a wider share base)

I was also there last night - the main reason to go is to collar the CEO's over a drink after (the presentation was cut short probably because we have seen it all before) Finance was the main discussion point (as far as I was concerned) and PA ruled out a general share issue - Had a chat with him after and they are very close to finalising the strategic partner and reading between the lines (a little) I think the strategic partner will also help with the funding in the first few production years (where further capex is budgeted into the project) PA seemed confident re the partnership, (he has already written the RNS announcement!!!) although, until the deal is signed, it isn't a done deal - he did say there are several other funding options available. - off topic, I was impressed with the opportunity at Zenith Energy

It's great to see that CF are bullish but those price predictions are schoolboy level

How much influence can Iluka have on the results of a Company they haven't taken over (yet) If I were a Director of Iluka It would be awkward explaining how the Company they are proposing to pay £200 million + for is losing so much money (the write downs in inventories is because they have under recorded cost of production previously) I still think there is doubt that the deal will go through hence the current SP - if it drifted back towards 20p I may have a punt

When they refer to irrevocable they mean that Pala have voted for the 36p bid and cannot change their vote - what Gib is saying is that they could also vote for another higher bid (although unlikely)

Now we know why they issued shares at 20p a few months ago - basically so that Pala could trouser some additional profit on the Iluka deal !!!!

All very bizarre - on the one hand we are all convinced Pala would want more than £200m for Srx (total valuation so their share would be just over half that) and on the other hand talks are in 'advanced stages' Iluka's negotiating record with Kenmare was shabby I believe the end game is close and, like others here, I see it higher than 36p

Gib - I sense you are as frustrated as me (I hold around 600k) and at 85p I could have sold and bought back over 2 mill. But having had 3 years of frustration I'm not selling as we draw near a conclusion. I can see these going back to 85p and beyond over the coming months (maybe 12 months max)

IC tip of the week - SP going down then!!!

Nothing ever happens nothing happens at all Despite higher production and higher prices and a positive chart Anybody any thoughts on when the SP will start moving??

Dara - three brokers is crazy .Also the placing at the current share price was odd - surely they could have waited for a SP recovery and issued a lot less shares (the business is generating cash anyway so why did they need a placing?) - it would have made more sense to use spare cash to buy some shares back at current prices (although I accept this wouldn't be easy with such a small free float) Anyway - we should be in for a rising SP over the coming months

Interesting article in today's Sunday Times about the terrible state of the SL economy - brought on by the collapse in the price of Iron Ore.-Looking forward to getting out of this Company around the end of the year

I don't see how Pala could have sold any - as there has been no announcement of a change in their holding - which they must do
