Not sure I am a man of knowledge but the MMs know when a sell or buy has happened even if it is a delayed publication.

Would be interested to hear about the institutional seller that has been mentioned though as this is not obvious from the trades.

This has just finished at 164p but the UT is at 165p so we will be 1p down on Monday but not really unless there is an RNS of course.

Shown as available sells were 50000 shares and shown as available buys were 68000 shares. Not a lot in the scheme of things and I don't see where they could be hiding any.

The range was between 157p and 210p, or there abouts.

My view, for what it is worth, is that there are no obvious institutional sellers or buyers and that there is very little stopping this rising to a more appropriate level aside of impatient sellers and RNS chasers. I accept that many people need to sell for other reasons.

Only my view and happy to hear otherwise.

Agree with that. Politicians are renowned for leaking good news, especially after a lot of clock ups.

Currently more sells (smallish) than buys but 2 to 1 buy to sell on the order book.

Equal number of buys and sells currently, Jim but buy value higher.

We have had 1 buy (not that I believe it means anything).

Given the shares being shown at auction, my guess is that they are picking up what they can before the last few minutes of "the weekend" anticipated action.

We are actually only 0.5p off yesterday's close as they used the UT as the start point today.

We haven't heard anything for three days.

We must have forgotten how to make affimers.

I wanted to buy in lower before Monday.

Maybe a mixture of the above.

I think I read somewhere this week that two CONDOR manufacturers are signed up and we are looking for more and that we had increased our affimer production capability, so it must be the last one then.

Tony Fawcett and Chengdo are correct with their analysis in my opinion.

I don't doubt that there will be a lot of tree shakes going forward as the early morning auction indicated a lack of shares, so they have collected a few from folk who were either casing an RNS or trying to buy back cheaper later on.

And we do have 7 DEPTH now.

We have had a second CONDOR manufacturer confirmed and because some people didn't receive the sp rise they were looking for, the MMs have managed to keep us level ahead of the last hour.

I have no doubt that I am not the only person to add today on the back of excellent news.

Not a ramp (I don't need to), merely a comment on what, at least to me, is an obvious statement of intent by the CONDOR programme.

I don't think the fact that there are no sales means that there won't be any sales going forward. No doubt coca cola had no sales when they just had the recipe.

I am simply looking at the Total Available Market for a rapid covid 19 test that produces quick results and see this as an unbelievably large market.

I am not comparing Avacta to coca cola as I might be accused of over ramping or even lunacy but just use it to demonstrate the point.

Worth googling Total Available Market.

The level two part is just what I see in the MM auctions.

A run to 175p is available and there seems little after that to stop the sp.

You can obviously sell if you wish but when the TAM is recognised buying might prove difficult.
