Will be a fantastic opportunity for Ocado to prove the value of a partnership for Asda through achieving in this one area….then move aside Autostore, Ocado has arrived.

A further point I would make concerns potential conflict and crossover / required collaboration for Asda and how this is overcome separating the two partnerships, again albeit at this stage performing differing functions for the retailer

I would greatly appreciate any opinion and views on why Asda would split their new strategy between Ocado and Autostore agreements. I appreciate the two companies are to operate differing functions within Asda however it would seem clearer to me if the strategy was to partner with Ocado for all which has a wider solutions offering and offer greater economies of scale across the Asda business.🤔

Agree QF10 and such an overreaction today….to be over 10% down at one stage on this RNS laughable! So many have misread the intention here

Just look at continued successes in Australia with rapid online growth for Coles partnering with Ocado. The technology has evolved enormously now allowing Ocado to cater for differing profiles and requirements of individual companies and their geographical / population density areas globally.

Still amazes me how the price fluctuates so much with such a low volume of transactions. No new negative news. 26th of February will be here in no time. New contracts in the pipeline…No Doubt. Nick De La Vega has not been employed to sit on his hands. Positive times and upward trajectory ahead for the patient. Finally surprises me why so many here still avoid using the very useful filter tab and allow the naysayers to continuously wind them up

26th Feb results date is correct Stupmy. I believe much to be optimistic about here and current panic re the tariff prospects I’m sure will be clarified, dampened down and less of an issue for Ocado generally. I also agree with others that the new CRO Nick will be working hard behind the scenes with some new prospects. Reading ‘whites123’ views on the other forum I consider to be well worthwhile in addition. I share much of his views and opinion and like whites123, have a significant percentage of my overall long term investments in this company.

This seems to me to be a very temporary blip based on Trump’s threat of 10% UK tariff increase. This is just my opinion as no other macro material changes to justify this price drop in a day and that uncertainty should be addressed / clarified shortly. Likely to see this negative swing reverse shortly. The same issues remain for the shorters and with very limited shares for them to purchase to reduce their exposure; most long-term investors are holding and won’t be rushing to sell. DYOR

The question I have is whether Wellington management made a calculated move increasing their short position from 0.73 to 0.81 yesterday or were they not expecting today’s such positive news?🤔 any views appreciated here thanks.
