Well about time we had one of these!!

The bad news for Shell is they will find on these grid applications the batteries will last 3 to 5 years. What a waste of money. They should be installing VRFB systems! These projects should be looking at fast-cycling multiple charge-discharge systems with a 25 to 30-year life. Using Lithium-Ion for these projects will get BESS projects a bad name!
So poor old Shell multi-year agreement will be short-lived - 3500 cycles - 4 to 5 cycles per day - that's 875 days - 2 years 5 months - opps!!
I think REDt need to get there sales team out in force in the UK and take people to see the installation down in Cornwall!

Each new week we all wonder what will come next?

For sure the vanadium price still continues to inch up day by day which is certainly good for profits from all mining and process activities at Vametco and Vanchem, each $ per kilo increase has a significant impact on our profits - $4,300,000 per annum based on target production.

But what news are we going to see unveiled next?
- Enerox purchase completion looks favourite to me - this will bring incredible opportunity to Bushveld Energy and there just may be a requirement to add into this another vanadium electrolyte plant in Europe close to Enerox. It would make sense to ship our V205 to Austria, as it would be much more cost effective than shipping electrolyte. Then there is an opportunity to build an assembly plant in SA for the African market. Both these are likely in my opinion.

- Lemur, well we have shared some thoughts today and news must come very soon.

- BESS well once Enerox is completed I feel there will be news on this, first project must be the Vametco mini-grid, but we must be likely to see others being unveiled very soon too. Mines and Businesses will be wanting to join this opportunity very soon.

- Joint listing - FTSE and JSE well its coming soon and for most here it can’t come soon enough
- something not often actually discussed but it would be great if we had an announcement to say that ‘X investment’ have competed their sell off and we have new investment from ‘x fund management company.’ Now that would cheer us all up as it would have some real effect on the SP in a very positive way. I don’t have any idea on this, I just hope that it happens!!

In the meantime we have to keep building our position or be patient for one or all of these key points to come to fruition.

I think every business with connections to coal needs to look carefully at the global impact. Fortune will be well aware of the need to create a completely green profile, to the business going forward. If there is a way to move Lemur out of the Bushveld Minerals company structure either by selling the business or by having it listed as a sperate entity and raising cash which could be used to start operations at Mokpane or upgrade Vanchem more quickly would be a very good use of the funds in my opinion. But, I have no doubt that when the opportunity is right the action will take place. The fact that we have had no news about Lemur since the Q3 update on 7th November could be very telling. It is not mentioned in the February 2020 presentation at the 2020 Mining Indaba. I think this is one inevitable RNS due very soon. A Chinese buyer would be most likely in my thoughts.
I just hope it raises a significant sum for the business.

Well SimplyWallStreet continues via its automated analysis highlights what an amazing investment this is and it also shows that for some reason unknown to all analysts this share is not performing as it should.
The sooner the the share over hang is lost the sooner we can realise our true value.
The time will come when we make it to the Main FTSE market and then we will be free to rise.
Not long in my opinion!

- Bushveld Minerals are a mining business mining vanadium which is used to strengthen steel from its Vametco Mine
- Vanadium is also used in a breaking electrolyte technology used in large energy storage batteries
- Bushveld Have two processing plants Vametco 3200 mtV and Vanchem 1100 mtV - currently producing a combination of 4200 mtV, in last year with an average selling price of circa US$40 per kilo with an operation coast of circa US$19 – but operation costs are lower in 2020
- Bushveld has plans to more than double the capacity of these two plants to 8400 mtV pa within 3 years
- Bushveld has 3 mines Vametco in operation, Brits and extension to Vametco and Mokopane which has the licence for mining fully approved and this happens to be the largest high-grade Vanadium mine in the world – DFS later this year and expect the mine to be opened in 2021
- Bushveld has built up a new division called Bushveld Energy which has partnerships with Avalon, REDt and Enerox GmbH
- Bushveld Energy has installed at the Eskom Battery Test facility a VRFB which has been operational over a year which is being used for evaluation purposes
- Bushveld Energy is in the process of building a Vanadium Electrolyte 200MWh plant in East London (SA)
- The Electrolyte plant will eventually have the capacity for 1000MWh of electrolyte
- 1000MWh of electrolyte needs approximately 5000 mtV per year
- Bushveld Energy is working with multiple partners around the world through Vanitec to build the strongest business case for VRFB
- Bushveld Energy plan to build an assembly plant for VRFB is SA – a Enerox subsidiary is possible?
- The world supply chain for vanadium remains in deficit and although other projects around the world are in planning, Bushveld Minerals is so far ahead of the other players in every respect

Vanadium prices are rising with the average price today at US$30 per kilo and our cost is around US$15 per kilo and we will be producing 4,300,000 kilos of vanadium in 2020!

Well, the rise is of course very welcome today! To be fair there had to be a day when it would start, but, for the life of me, I do not understand why any large shareholder would instruct any selling right now. In fact, any institution with a minuscule of intelligence would be reversing any previous instruction and be recommending that they actually ask the MM's to buy more shares on their behalf. They could then instruct a sell at over 60p or some other much higher amount! They could make a very tidy return on their investment, well in excess of what they may have already made.

Why say this, because at no point in the history of Bushveld Minerals has this company looked so strong and been in such a position to be so dominant in the vanadium market place at exactly the time when the steel market and the energy storage market has the greatest need. Add to the low cost operating cost that Bushveld Minerals have right now, any institution looking at selling when they should be buying would surely need their management to question the wisdom of their investment motives?

If you want to admire the amazing view, you need to be in the lift to the top floor! Get out of the lift you will be always left behind!

Let's see what happens! But this rocket is fully fueled and it is looking like lift-off!

These rises are going to be very good news for all current primary vanadium suppliers and right now very good news indeed for Bushveld Minerals, with record output coming from Vametco and so little coming out of China at the moment the pressure will be there for months to come.

So adding increased profits on the Nitrovan products being shipped from SA to the US, the VRFB news and birth of a new Energy Storage dawn in SA this is going to be exceptional news for Bushveld Minerals and its shareholders. Any investor with an ounce of savvy will be thinking this is a perfect time to buy into this incredible business. We have the lowest SP for 18 months, we have exceptional growth opportunity and we are making incredible profits.

We also have full permission to open the largest vanadium mine in the world (Mokopane) with the largest resource in addition to everything else, just as the world needs access to additional primary vanadium resources. This is turning into the perfect storm.

With the rate of increase in V prices we will be well over $40 per kilo very soon! Remember $40 to $45 is a sweet spot!

As Fortune has said, 'this story is not half told yet!'

I know UET was the system at Eskom, but I feel the Enerox CellCube technology will be the key modules going forward. I also think that the Vametco system will be expanded to give matched energy generation and storage. It just makes so much sense if they feel the outlay can be justified. Of course the balance is between return on investment and supply for customers. Often supply to customers comes first though as that is key income. But energy security is vital here too.
They to unlocking the supply chain though for VRFB is Mokopane and Vanchem for V203/V205 and the ramp up at East London. The timing is going to be critical for the multiples of potential projects which may well come flooding in.
However the key is production control, training of good people and good engineering.
This company is about to double in size I feel!
That will be music the share holders and to SA!

If Eskom do not get the energy storage projects right and don’t get independent energy generation sorted quickly using low cost renewables then SA will be in lot of trouble. They have the solutions and BE is a huge part of this.

Why do so many want to post under a thread subject that is so negative?
I find it beyond comprehension!
Of course traders will come along looking for a lower buy in position, but come on guys this is at the floor yet again. We have a broker target price if 82p. That is over 4 times higher than today’s SP and it is potentially possible we could reach that this year with the right conditions being meet.
If people want to buy in do it, but please don’t undermine those who are waiting for this company to realise its true value. The negative posters are trying yet again to give the MM’s yet more ammunition. In the meantime the business is striving forward.
Just think about it Bushveld Energy are about to hold a significant share of one of the worlds most advanced VRFB companies knowing that we have the worlds largest high grade easy to access at the lowest cost vanadium mines and processing plants which are already operating. Not only that when the market prices for Vanadium are rising steadily.
This company is going places. If you are coming on board welcome. If you are out of here, please leave gracefully!
Don’t be surprised if we don’t see two more RNS’s this month. I think it is highly possible with very good news.

One other point Bushveld Minerals have put huge investment into local people, schools, housing, education for young adults and of course their own employees. This is massive empowerment!
This is not your standard SA business it is ethically ran and totally aspirational.

It is totally a success story. I employ investors to hold or grow there investments if they feel comfortable. It is doing everything right. I wish there were more global companies ran like this one. For me this is what makes it the number one investment.

I sometimes think some people are looking to find negatives for the sake of trying to a negative. I find it remarkable given the number if investors who bought in, whilst the SP was in the range of 25p to 50p that now we are sitting in this current level that a few posters wish to create more negatives than is actually required.
Firstly SA is much more stable today than it was under the Zuma years. Secondly the country does have a power drought thanks to years of miss-management of Eskom.
However, if you consider the huge announcement this week that mines and industry are free to build their own energy generation and energy storage systems to eliminate business risk, this has created a huge opportunity for Bushveld Energy, which is going to be the largest cash generation engine for Bushveld Minerals over the years ahead.
For any novice investors, every investment has risks, the typical AIM stocks are usually pump and dump and have very little chance of success. This buisness is well beyond this stage. It is already within the Vanadium industry seen as one of ‘the’ companies to emulate. Just because the current market hasn’t quite grasped this is nothing to do with the future. The JSE li sting is very important to allow South African people to buy in. We should not forget that this company employs a majority of SA workforce and many of the management team are also SA citizens. The companies future and routes are based on becoming on modern aspirational SA business model that people can be proud of. How many SA businesses have international listings in London who have experienced great success. International listing in London is seen as kudos, not a reason to try and grab it back. That would have huge international implications. SA has just sent a large delegation to the UK to gain international investment. So people trying to create negativity around this are completely misguided. If there is a current risk at all it is the spread of the Coronavirus. We can see what has happened in China. But we will see vaccinations and this coming under control in the time ahead.
The Energy Storage market and need for Vanadium in the steel market will only grow and our position to capitalise on this is totally focused.
