DT you blamed the government for a recession (that we're not in) when there is clearly a europewide/worldwude reason for the situation we are in.

Hence recession in the EU or is that also this governments fault?

I've got no time for Johnson another lazy posh boy, other than his delivery and respect of my vote to leave the EU.

However he is clearly being held to different standards than other pms.

Blair used fabricated evidence in a deliberate and cold blooded attack on another country resulting in the deaths of hundreds of British soldiers and 100s thousands of Iraqis.

Jesus, the same argument on here every day.

I've explained my personal reasons for voting to leave the EU many times but the hardcore don't care.

Working in construction during Brown's recession as he simultaneously mass imported very cheap labour from Eastern Europe was just the start.

But the very simple point is this -

The EU worked in some people's interests - they voted to remain.

The EU worked AGAINST my interests- I voted to leave.

More people voted to leave than voted to remain - We left the EU.

By the way if they dared to hold a referendum on the EU in France or Italy the result would be very similar to ours.

The SNP were delusional if they thought the E U would welcome them with open arms. The E U only like rich countries that pour billions into their gaping maw or poor countries that provide lots of hard working, cheap labour.

Much as I love Scotland, they can provide neither of those things.

I believe labour and Starmer WILL benefit from the well executed destruction of Sturgeon and the SNP, which is exactly why she's being taken down. Scottish independence would be a nightmare for the establishment. She fulfilled her role taking chunks out of the Tories when labour were in freefall.

Hard up yes it is mate. Bought it back when it was about £70 or something, I love all the Islay malts but this one is supposed to be exceptional. Yes I should of opened it by now but never been the right time, not one to waste on after pub drinks!

Gazzleberry, yes I can understand that. I won't retire at 55 and start fishing lol, it's just that's when I'm aiming for pension, investments etc to come good and I'll leave construction. Maybe start another business, maybe not.

Gazzleberry yes mate you've got it. I pay enough tax to keep 3 or 4 nurses in business every year. I graft, save and invest for my and my family's future so I don't need to beg off the taxpayer. Is it ok if I keep some of it without the useless governments hands all over it?

Retirement that sounds like a great... retirement. I hope to be in that position at 55. Hopefully Starmers stormtroopers won't rob the 25% tax free drawdown
