RE: Could we please have an update...5 Jan 2022 13:16
I firmly believe the new management are quietly running the country in the background and will update us in due course. A trading update is due at the end of January or beginning of February based on historical updates but beyond that I don't think we'll see anything. This is just my opinion, but one of my few abilities is that I'm a good judge of character, and both Danny and David come across as the cerebral, quietly confident types who know what they are doing and will run this company well. They won't be a hostage to the share price and announce something whenever it falls an amount we think is 'a lot' as that way madness lies. The trading update due only runs to the end of December and up to that point, as far as we can tell, surgery in the US has been running at slightly below capacity. Looking at the Q3 results from Smith and Nephew they experienced some issues in the US due to a reduction in surgery but nothing massive. I expect similar from TRX. The company is in a much stronger position now and the question of when will it break even is now a question of 'when' not 'if'. The pandemic may delay this but I would still expect it this year or next depending on how this winter plays out with Omicron. Then it's just a question of building the profile of the company and selling it's products which has never been a problem. And then we can start to think about expansion plans etc. I know it's commonly said with shares/companies that 'this year will be different' but with TRX, finally, it should be true!
