Just listened in to the investor pres/interims discussion. Not much new, but the did emphasise the mountain they have had to climb in getting a new company going during a pandemic, dealing with shortages, increasing shipping costs, covid, brexit and god knows what else. None of that helps the small share holder mind you...

On the plus side Larry did say he needs patience from the share holders, but only for a few months, not years. Read into that what you will but there are lots of catalysts coming in Q4, mainly the commissioning of the Oxford Superhub to demonstrate that Invinity's battery does work at utility scale. Hopefully the decline in the sp will end soon!

All correct Paul150. It’s too tempting to stare at the sp performance for the last few weeks/months and forget the macro picture and the underlying reasons why we invested in BMN. Almost every major government is planning to spend more to get their economies up and running post-COVID. This will secure infrastructure investment for years to come. China is still an expanding economy despite it’s near term/short term issues. All this is positive for BMN and there’s still the VRFB development on top of that. If your investment horizon is next week then yes it’s a problem and no-one likes the current sp. But long term, the macro trends are irrestible.

IES delivered their interim the other day and buried within is a suggestion that they are going to raise capital within six months. Presumably it took the market 24 hours to read that far in...

You may be right about the support level loskins, and obviously selling out is your choice. But I do think there are a huge number of catalysts coming in Q4 this year which will lift the sp.

His tenth tweet is a key one in my opinion, if that infrastructure bill gets through congress then vanadium for batteries and steel should get a long term boost. Whether such a simple connection will be reflected on AIM though is anyone's guess!

Nice little 'ticking over' RNS, nothing stellar but plenty of cash on hand, build up of batteries, increase in manufacturing capacity, increase in all categories in the pipeline-base manufacturing and lots of catalysts in Q4 of this year to look forward to!

Vanadium price cooling could be due to uncertainty in China over property/Evergrande and the reduction in their steel production. Until that's resolved the price is going to fluctuate. But long term, China is an expanding economy and for that they need steel, and Bushveld's vanadium.

Absolutely. As Dartron said this is a five year view. And your entry point does determine your outlook perhaps. If you invested a year ago you'd be up 30%. However if you invested between Nov 2020 - Feb 2021 as I did then you definitely have faith to keep! and some rounding down to do... Wait until the Siemens Gamesa deal comes good, if you can.

Only just seen this one, nothing major mentioned but recaps the current position nicely.

Final thought: TRX should also be reasonably inflation proof as healthcare stocks can pass on price increases to the customer if they are the only supplier of said product. The supply chain issues are harder to suss out but I would have thought these would largely be avoided as most of the material is sourced and used in the US.

I wonder how much short term trading was going on as the sp traced the mountain range like pattern we've seen over the last few months? It seems these people are clearing out and taking profits now.

Following on from your post MRK2020, I was struck by the competency and the clear vision coming through in the presentation. The four S demonstrated a plan although I don't go for alliterative gimmicks myself, at least it showed they've thought it through. As far as covid is concerned, this is an ongoing problem but there is now a huge back log of surgery which will take years to clear meaning that the market for TRX is right there for the taking. The high barriers to entry for what they do means no-one can leap in to fill that gap and take advantage of it in the short term. With the completed expansion and (apparently) sufficient funding to take us through to break even it seems like might actually be looking at a profitable company this time next year. Given the vaccine roll out I don't think future lockdowns will happen in the US or UK and surgery will continue in some form through the winter.

Well I got an answer. Essentially they're committed to the four S's but if an offer did come through it would be considered.

You're right of course guys, I forgot the £2.1 mill for phase one which means the remaining cash will last even longer.

MRK2020, phase two did get a mention but as pokerchip says 'caution' would appear to be the watchword and reading between the lines I think they'd like to wait until elective surgery is back up to normal and they are making full use of the phase one capacity. They also may wish to fund phase two from profits rather than debt/shareholder dilution. Those last two sentences are my own thoughts, would be interested to know if you (or anyone else) watching the presentation come away with the same impressions.

Finally got around to watching it myself, all looks good. A few little drops of info not mentioned in the results on paper. They expect the remaining cash to fund the company through to profitability. Over the last twelve months they've spent 7.1mill. That leaves 11 months at the rate they're spending at, although they're clearly needing less as time goes on. I would go out on a limb and predict break even point at being Spring 2022. The EBITDA is down 48% to 1.1mill which is a huge improvement. And with the potential for phase one to deliver up to $30 mill in sales over time, combined with a global backlog of surgery I can't wait to read the end of year results!

Excellent results! Seems like we're having a sell on the news moment too! 'Tight financial management' - love it! I bet that David doesn't give you a paperclip without permission in writing from the CEO... and they've managed to find savings on 350K in the US to compliment the savings in the UK too.

Amen to that Mafuta. Goodness knows what the sp will do when the results come out. But if it is good news then after the dust settles we should hopefully see some gradual rise in the sp as we have done over the past few months.

We see in the news at the moment that several UK companies that are described as 'undervalued' in the market are being bought up by US companies. Is this something the board would entertain for TRX or is there a determination to 'go it alone' and realise the company's potential?

Just letting you all know so you can ask different ones or emphasise this one if you wish! I would recommend sending in Qs, they did spend a large portion of the last meeting answering them so there is some desire to engage with shareholders.
