This is one of those read-between-the-lines RNSs. They have done some serious due diligence on this battery, goodness knows what stress tests it's passed, but obviously it was better than it's competition. It sends a signal to other companies/governments that they risk being left behind and look what you're missing! This was also an 'older' battery, imagine what will come out of the Siemens deal in a years time?! (fingers crossed!)

Huge approval of Invinity's tech with a big company in Korea! The global expansion continues, it will be interesting to see the market reaction to this one!

All very interesting gents, wonderful research and let’s hope it becomes ‘real’ through an RNS in the near future. I would imagine as we’re almost a year into the two year deal with Siemens we are due a one year update as to what progress they have made. We live in hope.

If an £8K purchase moves the sp 8% I wonder if they'd consider making it a regular thing?!

It is undoubtedly a small amount, but I prefer to see this from the glass half full perspective. It is better that they are buying rather than not holding at all. Or even worse, selling. They seem to have been pacing themselves on the purchase front. And their purchase seems to have been sufficient to lift the sp a fraction today in lieu of any other news.

Exactly. With the 2021 results visible to the company and Jan-Feb of 2022 also in the bag there is little left to the imagination. This is a typical market over reaction to an unknown and there's nothing more likely to cause panic than that. If this is still down when the new tax year starts then a big chunk of that new ISA money will be coming in here.

S4 is the second PwC client in the UK to announce a delay to the publication of its accounts this week. Randox, the Northern Ireland-based medical diagnostics company, said on Tuesday that its audited accounts would be released later than planned because PwC AND its own finance team had been affected by Covid-related absences.

I think the key word is the 'and' in the last sentence. Can we safely assume that PwC are busy doing lateral flows and swinging the lead from home and there's nothing wrong with the company??

Hopefully so, and an increased or special divi looks to be likely so fingers crossed for that!

Good point there RN1MLT, big players need TRX’s products but want to keep it at arms length to avoid being liable (?) that gives them pricing power. I’m sure they said in the last results pres that they put prices up but saw no drop in orders.

It’s hard to know how much the current price is down to the unprofitability of the company. Doubtless when breakeven happens the sp will jump and then when it’s sustained for a second year it will jump again. Also if a 20% increase can be kept up there is that to add in. Finally there is the phase two expansion which may take place soon if cash and demand for products makes it possible. So there are several big catalysts for the company in the next 1-5 years. As to how much it’ll go up, your guess is as good as mine. But at the moment, unprofitable biotechs with a poor history are not getting much favour in the market. When the business improves the sp (should) reflect that. As to the prospects for a takeover, I hope not. This company will be worth a lot more in ten years if it stands alone. It operates in such a niche market with a really high legislative/FDA barrier to entry that provides a really wide moat as Mr Buffet would say.

Agree with you YamR1man, £100 is a milestone and the kind of thing which draws attention to the share, encourages lazy stock market journalists to wax lyrically about the companies progress and remind those who don’t invest here what they are missing. It’s certainly a lot more fun watching it go up than down that’s for sure!

Solid set of results there. More copper, more revenue and dividend policy to continue. Increase in costs to be expected with energy prices as they are and Atalaya continues to be a well run company IMO.

Title says it all: hopefully it will continue to tick up as the market takes notice. This is still a largely undiscovered recovery play post-covid, tied in with some positives moves in the business over the last twelve months. Hopefully the recent drop in the sp will be repaired and improved upon.

I think they will have to break even and stay profitable before the sp really goes up. After the history of the company I think the market is waiting for concrete proof that everything is working.
