I am all for free speech and being able to post whatever you want, BUT the Colonel appears to have a negative agenda? I've seen such posters over the years who appear to be very intelligent, knowledgable and eloquent. They can be bulls or bears but CD seems hell-bent bearish.

Now I've been very critical recently of SOLG and p1ssed off about management, but i hope i haven't been consistently dower ?

Fwiw i never totally 'trust' posters who use military rank or any other prestigious titles in their posting screen name. Maybe the good Colonel really is or was a Colonel but even then, I think it's a poor show to do so.

Times are curently very testing for folk but imho we don't need constant negativity about World's End from the 'Colonel' or indeed anyone else !!

As I'm pretty sure will have already been posted today, the Greatland Gold (GGP) CEO has bought circa £55,000 shares today.

Same market sector as SOLG.

I am invested in GGP for the record.

I'd have liked to have seen Mather buying his shares this week but it appears that it hasnt happened. Tax year implications ??

But maybe you invest a much larger proportion of your available funds than i do. I see share investing as gambling plain and simple. Mitigated by experience and research, but none the less, a gamble !

I take your point, but our share price is central to our ability to raise funds.

SOLG as a company is on the ropes imho .

At times like these we need to hear some direction , information, and reasurance rom our company.

i too pray for an offer but if you were the company with the wonga to do so - would you buy at the moment amidst this world financial chaos ?

There must surely be various potential buyers who are licking their lips at this crippled share price but possibly holding off doing so.

i like a joke as much as the next man or woman (and today i understand is International Women's Day - go all women) .

But folk surely need to be guarded with their jokes, because the CV is likely to take many loved ones before it's over, and may well have very sad effects on many invested / posting here :(

a level closing price is relatively bullish in the current market !

A trades - lots of them have been going through for months now.

Very unusual imo .....

the water torture continues and investors are voting with their feet and selling. Who can blame them !?

As others have been saying for months now, it would appear that shareholders are being put through the mill because of the Cornerstone 15%. Is 85% not enough !?

It's difficult to think of any other reason for the ongoing situation.

How low could the SP go in the next few weeks and months?? It's not beyond the realms of possibility that single figures could be seen again. I sincerely hope not but where is the boost to stop this rot going to come from ??

I shall continue to hold (almost against my better-judgment) in the hope that somebody comes along and makes a fantastic bid for SOLG but even that looks unlikely at the moment.

All companies face trials and tribulations as they grow and progress - that are beyond their control, but what makes the current situation all the more galling is that it appears to be a deliberate strategy by the company itself.

Enough moaning from me although i think it's entirely reasonable that posters are venting their concern and anger on this BB and it amazes me that some posters say they are perfectly chilled out about it.
