Copper & Gold prices increasing can only be good for SOLG but until the stuff is being dug out of the ground and sold for profit, they have a very limited impact on the here & now share price. Jam tomorrow seems to me at least, to be increasingly shunned by the market.

Short of a buyout - which i still hope will happen, the prospect of moving to production ASAP is what will likely get the SP moving higher in the shorter term.

... actually I'll have to correct my last post, the last RNS on the PFS on 30th September did explain the reasons the PFS has been delayed from the planned end of Q3.

hi Quady, yes the PFS would be good but a few more weeks away i feel ? I doubt we'll ever get an explanation as to why it's been delayed - because if I recall correctly, they've never given explanations on other missed deadlines ?

With the Coronavirus 2nd wave now rising, will markets be retreating once again as they did in March? The FTSE 100 has certainly been falling . It's not rocket-science. And will the markets drop to March levels? Probably not, as much more is known about the virus now and it's no longer a 'big surprise'. But we all know what happened to the SOLG SP in March - not good !

We need the carrot of something 'imminent' to remain dangling here imho or else a slide seems likely. I can only speak for myself, but the carrot for me is a buyout, JV or Farm-out. Anything less and the shine is going to start to wear off again - even if forthcoming drill results are good or even stellar. The golden destination of production at Alpala is just too far into the blue yonder to sustain interest here and now. That said, maybe Porvenir can transform the production timeframe? Here's hoping.

SP has been taken down today on little volume, and I'm surprised folk are selling their golden tickets at this stage of the game. But couldn't resist a little top up myself this afternoon. At least the RSI has cooled off again - hopefully ready for the next rise ?

Wasn't one of the rampers on here saying a month or 2 ago that the SP would never fall below 0.15p and that if it did, he'd/she'd give their house away ? Just wondered when this event might be taking place lol. I jest of course, but just goes to show that you can never be sure how low UKOG will go nowadays ! That said, it's a pretty bad day on the markets in general today.

hi schlemiel, i agree with much of your last post, but today's majors were once explorers too, so it's not unreasonable for SOLG to have aspirations of becoming a major too - given the stellar assets it has.

The Placing continues to be a drag on the SP it seems, but all 4 wheels will hopefully be back on the wagon from the 4th November onwards, when the wagon can get rolling once again - and who knows.....fireworks on November 5th anybody LOL ?!? gla

Bit of a tree shake by the MMs to gather more shares? Bless 'em. I get the distinct impression that there are very few shares currently not in 'sticky hands'. I reckon they're going to have to let it rise if they want to attract more sellers :)
