Can you imagine an apparent wonder drug like SNG001 having been around in the flu pandemic in the early 20th Century? The lives it would have saved ! The government & Doctors would surely have administred it in the blink of an eye ???

Fast forward 100 years - erm - progress ????? we seem to be tied up in some sort of political-legally-bound World ??

Are those with the power to do so, really going to sit by and see their people die when there appears to be a solution ?

hi Patrm, it's a strange world for sure and I don't like how things seem to be going re social media giants - that's a discussion for elsewhere. But facts are facts, and the world needs copper, gold, lithium, and other precious metals in abundance to succeed in it's green climate-change goals. Governments around the World will be waking up to this fact (please don't tell me many governments are proactive in these things) and the fight for PMs will get harder and harder.

hi BBG it certainly does feel to me that whatever shennanigans are going on behind the scenes - such as these apparent L2 blockers, those doing it are trying to bore LTHs out of their shares and put off buyers. If that really is the case then I think they underestimate the intelligence and due dilligence of many PIs. The cat is well and truly out of the bag imo and what assets SOLG (soon to be ECG lol?) have and probably will have going forward are on the radar. Copper demand & prices going only one way in the EV revolution, plus our sizeable gold & silver. I actually would have taken 80p per share some while ago, but wouldn't now. Time is money and will cost potential buyers more and more money (if Porvenir etc comes good). If the 'player(s)' are waiting for the PFS then so be it, but the days of getting SOLG on the cheap have well and truly gone imho.

Yep Quady will be back - just like Arnie. He won't be able to resist. And while I wouldn't want to share a beer with the guy, I can't deny his conviction to production or his very low average buy-in price. And as others have noted, balance is best on a bulletin board for sure !

Echo please keep posting - and then you'll be able to celebrate what could well be an upcoming bullrun, with the rest of us; and you appear to have been a holder for far longer than me (only since December for me).

'Ecuador Copper & Gold' perhaps ? This name immediately informs where we are, and our key assets.

Maybe it could be written as 'Ecuador COPPER & gold' - so as to indicate the relative importance of the precious metals? I would keep gold in the name because it adds value and imho attracts gold-focused investors.

All that said - you could also make the case that all of the big players who are / will become relevant to the proceedings here, will clearly already know exactly what SolGold is and has, and therefore would the name change just be for the benefit of attracting more retail investors ?

But, one final point - perhaps the Ecuadorian Government would fully appreciate and endorse a new name which included Ecuador ?

Scinv in the TEN years I've been posting i would say probably 99.5% of my posts have been on shares i hold. Yes I can see a case for someone uninvested posting the odd post here and there to give facts and info as they see fit, and as investors we can all have an occasional moan about the company's performance (I certainly do) but unless you yourself really are invested in SNG then you are imho either a blatant troll or a disgruntled ex-holder who lost money - given your posting rate and from what I can tell, negative view of this company. If I'm wrong about your negative stance then please correct me.

But I'm not going to get into a pie-throwing match with you because it would clog the BB. Ciao

I agree with mog & BBG - imo a major could happily pay well over the odds for part or all of SolGold and with the blessing of their shareholders because the money they'd make over half a century would be collasal and many times order of magnitude of their buy price. It's investing for the future. Unless a substance is found to replace copper then the price of copper is only going one way : to the moon ! Then you've got the gold and silver reserves as a huge bonus too :D

I think it's more than reasonable to say that things are currently going from strength to strength in our operations - and hence a new uptrend on the chart will be commencing with higher highs and higher lows. Time will tell of course and for balance things might languish just a little before further news is forthcoming? But i think i'm maxi-bullish too. Cheers !!

Tomorrow's price action will be interesting albeit insignificant in the big scheme, if the current indications/suspicions of sizeable assets come to fruition. No good reason not to see another blue day as retail investors who were working or otherwise busy today will have had this evening to digest the excellent RNS. I'm holding for the ride - which from where I'm sitting will be fun. M Cap probably far too small for any insto investment but you never know ;) GLA

Medical layman here (i don't think First Aid counts lol) and notwithstanding that we don't know what's actually going on behind the scenes, I'm in agreement with some other posters that the Indian Covid Crisis presents Synairgen with a golden opportunity to showcase our drug to their authorities and hope for EUA; it's arguably our very best chance at this stage of an EUA being granted anywhere. It would also be a moral crusade. Synairgen really should imho be in Proactive discussion with the relevant people in India and should be doing it now. Okay nothing might come of it but at least they will have tried. If they feel uncomfortable in such communication then temporarily hire someone with the credentials and contacts who would be comfortable. It's surely got to be worth the effort/ cost ??
