Hi Jezzoo I couldn’t agree more. Holding this share sometimes feels like the twilight zone.

I see mathersfinger will be buying @ 26p (better dust off your wallet mf as 26p looks imminent - I hate that word in the SOLG context lol). For me I will be buying more at 25p if it goes that low - which is quite possible if the latest news-blackout continues?

I sincerely hope that DBW & RK ‘s contacts with the company and their interpretation of the ruins / what’s coming down the pipeline imminently (argh !!) actually comes to fruition.

Meanwhile I’ve got wet paint drying to watch - which is currently more interesting than this share lol !!

Do our current board of directors not read this bb and understand shareholder’s concerns and frustrations? A lifestyle company might resonate with some? Is this what this company has become ?

BNc thanks for your charting updates mate, they are much appreciated by me and I’m sure by many holders/posters. I don’t often post TA anymore but do try to keep a keen eye. At present it appears that the market is undecided where this is heading. Resources & common sense seem to be being offset by fatigue and scepticism that the malaise might continue indefinitely ?

Never ever have I held a share with such huge potential but such poor share price delivery.

Apparently our SP was ‘dangerously low’ some time ago (20-22p ish?) Since then we’ve proved up more resources. Based on that - are we still dangerously low, to a low ball takeover? If the current SOLG bod have a master plan which pays off then I will forever hold them in high esteem. But if they are rabbits caught in the headlights - then not.

I do get the feeling that our canoe hasn’t a rudder and if things continue, it won’t even have a paddle.

Where is the new CEO !!

Hi 799boy, I think you’re talking good sense. No moans from me about the placing or it’s price. Placings are only bad things in my book when done too often - causing excessive dilution, or particularly when used to prop up a failing company - and BOD certainly isn’t one of those from where I’m standing !

If operations progress as well as we all hope/expect them to, then as you say - the fun should kick off big time :)

Hi rcgl2 I do understand where you’re coming from about Mather / selling, but some might argue that over the years he became too close to the company or even indeed - that he viewed the company as being his own in-spite of its other shareholders. They might argue that because of this, he won’t necessarily be able to take an objective view - if and when the time comes to sell. Who knows - only himself I guess?

But one that is certainly apparent, is that he still has a very sizeable influence on/over the company - for better or for worse, depending on your point of view.

I’m afraid that this BB will always be susceptible to criticism of the current BOD until a sea-change occurs in the BOD or at least their stance. The new CEO situation is beyond farcical !!! Is Mather the negative factor behind this? Would you want this job with Mather holding so many shares?

It’s all so very frustrating, given the colossal resources SOLG has already proved up

SOLG has a sweet shop full of wonderful sweets. Time to sell some of the sweets - if not all of them, in order to generate some profit - or else the sweet shop could go bust or be bought out on the very cheap. Seems fairly obvious to me as a layman ??

For goodness sake, please raise your game in a timely manner SOLG and step up to the plate to give your shareholders the respect they (we) deserve regarding market cap and share price !!

In other matters, Christmas will be along soon but the big question in many people’s thoughts is whether SOLG will deliver any significant news before Christmas ?? And I foresee jokes aplenty (again) about which Christmas - 2021, 2022 etc …. you get the all too familiar picture.

Today’s uplift is more like it :D After the recent bear-run anyone would have thought that Lithium had suddenly gone from the green-revolution recipe book lol. D’er !!

Hi echo maybe have your cake and eat it ? Top slice some and hold some? It might make you feel better for now ? Up to you of course but I’m holding for significantly higher prices and I think the train will be chugging north again pretty soon after this consolidation and cooling off of the relative strength index. They do say let your good shares run and cut your losses on your bad ones. I kicked myself over GGP when I bought in around 3p last year then sold for about 5p thinking I’d done well. The sp then went on to around 30p+ if memory serves and I was pig sick.
We all make our own investment (gambling) decisions and have to live with them. I just reckon there’s significant upside in the BOD sp from here and i’m going to hold and see. Best of luck whatever you decide to do !

Hi Thornyriver, I bought in last December just above .8p

Circa 1.6p would give me around 100% within a year - hardly a few percent :)

But I get your sentiment, if things go as well as we hope, then many 100’s of % are surely the cards here imho - even given future funding issues.

As many other LTH’s I suspect I alternatively love and hate this share. Love the massive fundamentals which are so relevant to combatting current climate change via EVs and the wider green /electric revolution.

BUT hate the pulling-teeth sloth timeframes - as exemplified by the CEO appointment when/if it comes - and I won’t be holding my breath lol. (But thanks DBW for your update).

What’s causing these timeframes? Is it the directors ? Covid? Operational environment notwithstanding that the political environment became much safer & more positive earlier this year?

Some may even be cynical and wonder if this company has become - or perhaps always was - a ‘lifestyle’ company: run for the benefit of the director’s bank accounts!

I don’t subscribe to the lifestyle theory because if I did I would sell.

Us LTH’s are getting older and older lol, and I doubt many would have believed that we would currently be @ 26.5 pence after so many positive outcomes this year via drilling and Ecuadorean politics.

I guess I will close by saying that I’m holding and will start to buy more if the share price drops to 25p or below. Don’t let the barstewards get you down Solgers ! :D

What a day for BOD holders :D !!

Days like these remind us why we ride the AIM market rollercoaster.

On the charting side, we saw significant volume today and the daily chart hasn’t closed at this share price since January 2018 ! This is hugely bullish - given what we know of the positive developments in our fundamentals and indeed those which are very likely coming along imho.

But a slight reality check - the daily RSI closed at 86%. Anything over 70% is often considered to be ‘overbought’. Hence the high RSI may indicate a cooling tomorrow and a consolidation for a few days?

Who knows? I’m approaching a 1 bag profit here and will continue to hold strongly, because I believe that the share price has true potential to continue to multi-bag from current levels (with a rollercoaster along the way of course).
