It only missed the endpoint on the multiple does presuming 6mg..but presuming if and end point was set fpr 1.5 mg then it was probably met. That is my opinipn of the result and a knee jerk reaction. Sorry that you have decided to bail at imo the worst possible juncture. However I respect your decision. This drug has the ability to greatly cut down on the frequency of exacerbations and it is the number of those that can greatly effect the quality and also length of life. So yes I believe that we still have a novel drug it is just where it will be commercialised and in which format and which respiratory markets. They are going for one which will be commercially the most viable imo and others will follow suit. It is only on my better understanding having had more conversations with qualified persons that can put it in simple jargon that I feel this will be commercialised. I am more upbeat than I have been for sometime. It is amazing how different investors can assimilate the same information and reach to differing opinions and there in itself lies the beauty. In a blind mans world the one eyed man is king.

As in effect whilst the end point has not been reached it is of little significance to the drug being approved and over a longer testing I would expect the end point to be met. More importantly are the improvements seen in the ability for the patients to breathe more easily which in basic terms is what I am reading into it. Having lost several friends and a relative to respiratory disease that was a huge issue. So I see potentially a drug here that will have a profound positive effect on the suffers quality of life and especially during the evening insuring better sleep and overall health benefits. I could see this cutting down the amounts of times that suffers would be admitted for hospitalisation. I believe that this share will bounce back up as nothing has changed here and if anything it has been a very positive trial. I think going forward I question if the 6mg will be used or just the 1.5mg. However it may be that for different conditions different doses may be preferred to have the optimum benefit. So Izstar long term still see potential positive commercialisation. I still believe that the latest recruits to the management team should be viewed positively and that this will reach commercialisation. If I had any spare money I would definitely take advantage of this price as imo it is worth 30% more in the very short term and by middle of year and once we get more news on the direction of the next trail. the results of the spray trial plus more in depth detail on this last trial then I expect this over a £1 again. Lets be honest if we had hit end point we may have gone up 10 to 20%. So Izstar and all case of sitting tight. It was always a commercialisation or bust but having had a chat with someone who knows about the COPD drug market My inclination is leaning towards commercialisation. GLA. I totally believe that this has been oversold in panic for which I am saddened as probably taken out some LTH's that thought it was the end. I have already shared this information with a recently acquired friend that has a background in COPD. The following is what she said. Firstly the results are only top line data and full data may well give a clearer picture and better than initial top line data she believed could be gleaned over the coming months. She believes that the product will l still receive FDA approval. For what it is worth she says having only recently looked at Verona Pharma at my asking she believes rpl554 to be a very interesting product that has properties that seem unique and potentially very useful to massively enhance the quality of life of a COPD sufferer. She says she knows of no other drug that can do what rpl554 can do. She did note that in her opinion the 3 day test would provide a insight into what the next trial may or may not include eg doses tested or otherwise. But she also said that if it was trailed over a longer period she would expect the results to be even more pronounced due to the action of the drug and it's positive effect on patients when used with mono or dual therapies. So in short I fell this has been oversold and expect that in the US it will not drop anywhere as much. Did anyone manage to listen to the conference call and if so would be grateful if you could share any info as to what they may have said and if JAK was asked about the current reaction by the market to the news.

Completely doubt it as they would be unable to justify the wages that such company titles would command. The dates would suggest they have an inkling as to some data from the latest trials. Imo and dyor but I believe the next rns will be very insightful and potential $ being spoken of on advfn for potential share of the respiratory market and the price we would receive per patient is large and something that they said when I spoke with them makes certain figutes eyewatering and very appealing. Maybe you are correct and their will be no retrace on this next occasion and just a steady climb.

No wonder they passed the motion not to strike a deal. With the sp collapse they have set themselves up very nicely OMG they are all lining their little nests at the expense of the shareholders. In 2020 a further 4 times todays amount of shares being issued will be added and further dilute shareholders gains. That is not even waiting for further share option bonuses that they will no doubt award themselves. If this is not a wake up call to investors as to who's benefit this company is being operated for then smell the coffee imo. Expect to see a few sells after this RNS and does it surprise me not in the least.

Fully agree £3 should not be. Probably should be £10 but that is the reality of big pharma screwing small R and D and that is the reality IMO. Anyway we should still get closer to £1.50 and above after next RNS. So happy to hold till then. May sell the remainder of my shares if over £1.50 and then wait for the retrace and buy back in once it gets back to 1.10 ish.

Sorry to hear of the last investment...after all these years you should realise that as much as she can rise she can dip as quick and IMO we are in a worse position than ever. I would not buy another share as IMO it is a crooked deck.

You could be correct but I am getting advise from a COPD specialist from Europe and believe this could move this year LTH always said 2019 last quarter or- 2021 first quarter is when deal could be done. I still believe if commercialised will reach £3 a share. So from this price on good news then we have some happy investors.;-) ;-) ;-)
