I like this share but I think there's further falls to the 150 level before it becomes a BUY for me.

Looks like the sell off from 1150-1200 happened at the top of the channel. There's massive resistance down at this level so to me it looks rangebound and today's price looks like a buying opportunity, so am long at 1020.

...Therefore have taken a long at 572.

An overnight short would have done well at open so sham I couldn't place one. However, the results don't announce much we don't already know so I am expecting a small recover back towards 600 during the day, as this was where bad news was already priced in at before results.

Key figures to watch are for: Maintenance of dividend at 28p for this year and next Profits to come in not much less than £230m, so anything below c.£210m will be probably be a miss punished by the market. Net debt should not be much higher than £500m. £525+ will send jitters Also watch out for any write downs (e.g. prop. impairement)

Really hard to pitch this one - short or long. Maintaining div as per 21 Apr RNS will help. Any sniff of this going down next year and this will dive. I wonder, however, if there's more bad news that requires kitchen sinking tomorrow . I don't have more cash until tomorrow to play with, but if I were to be able to trade I think I would go with a good kitchen sinking tomorrow and take a short out tonight. I can't see a major rise on the cards tomorrow.

Very amusing price has been brought this low - it's clearly to deter the PI from taking part in crowdfunding (which is now at a premium) and maintain the status quo of the bucket shop city boys only club for stock flipping. The retail trader loses again.

The latest IMS and Kantar data shows a picture of MRW finding it difficult to gain traction. Investors are being told to prepare for a cut price dividend next year. With a no real progress being made on the sales front and a shrinking asset portfolio I don't see much in the short to mid term that would dissuade me from a short position. Aldi's rise to 5th place is surely imminent and coupled with aggressive expansion plans MRW's 4th spot does look vulnerable over the course of the coming FY

Yup, which is why any income-based strategy should be long term. Short term dividend grabbing almost never works.

Been a disappointing/frustrating week for the Longs, hope we can settle comfortably above 1100 by the bank holiday.

some resistance candles forming here and RSI still over 70, think a sell off could be in progress.

Closed short at 129 today - 5% gain so quite happy. That's the last short on my book closed, I'm judging the risk too high with this raging bull market to hold any short positions, but I might take another look here at 140ish... RSI got down to 21 a weeks back and despite sinking SP is back up to around 29 again, so to me it looks like an upwards drift from here for next short entry.

I think there's a pretty good chance it will get down to those targets too. Not really much going on to get it moving north and the sector is weak.
