Completely agree with Anton. There is obviously very poor visibility of earnings here and to be honest it just invited all the Bulls at once today because there wasn't much cheer pre draghi. If anything today's tise has created a stonking short. A bad night in Asia tonight and this sinks tomorrow.
This has to be one of the greatest shorts trading at this PE of 43 ish. Assign a generous PE of 20 and this should be trading in the 200p territory. Bear market will see to that soon enough.
Short interest should decrease sharply in the coming days to see it over the line.
thjs is why I never go in the night before results, to be honest I though it would warrant a 2-4% increase. I can only assume the market is looking at the stocks trading on high multiples now and wondering if they are too overvalued? Might be one to watch for a bounce in the coming days.
Well it's a solid industry for a start and has good visibility of earnings. Given the shaky macro climate another 5% yoy growth figure will show this to be a safe haven. There's some money heading out today though so I do wonder whether someone's got whiff of bad news? Not one to trade overnight, looking forward to seeing what turns up tomorrow.
Things could really start hotting up here soon, with everything else taking a hammering gold will become a safe haven and right now these are looking cheap.
It's down on macros... From what I've read of tariff cuts are not being followed through so I eoukd expect bullish update, however it seems as though it's priced in

BLT specifically, next month will be watershed for the divi and the SP. Presumably there will be a cut (though going by history, not a suspension). The SP will take a hammering for following week during which bears should look to change to bulls and pick a bottom. I remain short until the announcement.
