I would be amazed if SIM did not have to go through a rigorous Pre Qualification and Tender process to contract with the US government which would include declaration of current assets and demonstration of sustainability. I therefore don't have issues with the Balance Sheet here. My concerns are around growth in sales and where my b/even sp value might be achieved. Israeli dividend tax is also irritating. Just hope all future rns's are positive. gla.
Wish I knew your answer Ian. Beats me why we have drifted this low. My average still far too high - try to delude myself that it is only a paper loss:-) Someone once suggested the company had spirited away $1m but I think that was a bit of frustration showing. I'd hold off buying back in till an upward trend becomes evident if I were in as lucky position as yourself. Spreads far too wide as usual. GL.
I'm beginning to wonder why I bought here in the first place.
eventually reacting to the buying jolly? Hope so. gl.
'Repeat training' is re-sold when the annual licences are charged for, giving the ongoing yoy income. Admittedly not as great as in year 1 but repeat business nevertheless. Would be nice to see a news update here. gla.
Sorry Ian missed your post - Sun 14:06 re Florida production. Q? answered. :-)
June 2014 AV sells nearly 130k shares at almost 31p 'to meet market demand'. Perhaps he could buy some more now to mop up too much free float? (lol) My 30p average is beginning to look a tad ambitious. Unsure about previous bb comment on restrictions with Israel production as I thought most production/ licensing/training was delivered through Florida - anyone better informed on this? gla.
Old man - what puzzles me is if there is so little free float and we don't have a run on selling here - and also while we are getting good sets of results, then why isn't there upward pressure on the sp? Am I missing the selling Jolly refers to? I can only see 300k+ this month with probably 200k+ buys, that's only £20k difference. I'm guessing the big sale last month will have been matched with a buyer as the sp didn't move that much. AV's last sale (129k shares) was said to help the buyers/free float. Not a great many to do that. Love to hear others take on all this, thanks. gla.
Maybe they had a call to make some available for automatic re-investments on Friday lol. gla.
Was it opened at 108p on the 18th so far as trading is concerned?
to results is disappointing. Perhaps the increased T/over was underwhelming? However SIM were well able to show strong control on costs and money management. Israeli divi tax is always a bummer also. When will we break back through 30p again? gla.
for results. Hope it shows good progress. gla.
Held for 18 months at 275 avge. This recent confidence from the market is a pleasant surprise as it's not the first time for some decent results. I particularly like the healthy order book and most is repeat business - that a sign of quality delivery/service. gla.
Dropped a bit to 8%, but then so did the SP! Just shows you what I (don't) know. gla
-profit taking today (not by me I hasten to add) - inevitable. Spread still nearly 10%. Will see another rise when this narrows I think. gla.
Enjoyed the day and now the next one! Can people now be waking up to this share. Spread not very conducive for buyers - perhaps this is why there could be a shortage on free float? If the push from brokers is for sellers to meet a very large order above well what we PI's could manage. gla.
Tarq - is there really a lack of free float? When AV released some of his shareholding some time back 'to assist' those wanting to buy, there followed months of selling. gl.
Getting back to 30 would see me break even. Can't understand why with so much cash this can't be at least 36p. Maybe it's the Israeli tax on divis that puts punters off. gla.
Staying put as I don't like turning a paper loss into a REAL one. Also might pick up on the share split. gl.
