Bozo, I take your point regarding EPS and profit. I was being a bit more simplistic with regard to the NAV and its ultimate effect on the Share Price ( not withstanding market forces which are/should of course be demand driven).

I still have hopes for commercial success here, as I have had for more than a decade now. GL

I worry that any move to target increasing the share price from the settlement will ultimately trigger issue of bonus shares to board executives and therefore further dilute shareholder return. Buyback wasn't mentioned prior to the settlement as far as I recall.

Reading through the last years' RNS's, it increasingly appears to me that any special dividend is going to be significantly reduced by a share buyback programme.

Does anyone else have any opinions in this?

As of today 13.5%. Buying range between 9.49p (Dec20 low) and 145.45p (Nov13 high). First purchase Apr11.
Do not envisage selling unless things go to ridiculous levels.

Only sympathy I have with Masterman is that he has a boatload invested here also, although he has a better chance than us of recovering his position via a buyout. Not that there is any interest mooted in that.

Of course WRES is a viable prospect, I don't think the majority think it is going to be a failure. The worrying issues are around the journey to profitability. Every time there seems to be movement towards this, a bag of spanners is dropped into the works by the BOD. Hence the current share price.
Whatever happened to the (fanciful?) idea to separate out our gold asset? No further word in what, 3/4 years now.

Been here 8+ years and WRES now only 1% of my PF due to SP drops. Will just park it and wait and see now. With current commodity prices this should be flying.
