Interesting that in June 14 Ami Vizer sold 130k shares to meet market demand. Not a lot to sell to satisfy the market. Now we have a proposed buyback (which I'm happy about especially if so few shares might affect the sp) and I'm on the edge of my seat to see if it is going to be significant. Anyone out there got ideas about the size of free float? If it's not a lot then the sp should react quite well. Time to top up? gla.
No further equity issues this month and a star performance with the sp. Seems I'm overly concerned. Let's hope it's all sustainable and the returns are good.
I can see what is happening and I can understand how it works and the effects that follow. What I don't understand is the strategy behind the transactions. Better balance sheet yes, but also more equity held so a dilution on eps. I'm a little concerned that this is to offset insufficient profit returns to allow the maintenance of a divi. short term. Anyone put me right here?
very encouraging. Still a bit off my 30p b/e. Having said all that I anticipate a value here of 38-40p p s and won't be offloading until then (if then). gla
As Rivsldo says the move to longer term revenues seems to be the reason for lack of market support. Probably the static EPS creating some lack of sp impetus. It should of course be the opposite as all the targeted sales and direction are promising long term rewards. As said cash+ is almost worth this so on its own. Additionally we now have financials which will support dividend payments ongoing which is relatively new for the company - now an established stock. I'm delighted with company progress, just have to wait for Institutional Investors to recognise the value here. gla.
Transaction and notification dates are very odd. Mistake there methinks.
Be interesting to see if these are taken up across the boards or by one buyer. To say that these have maybe kept the sp down this last year may be true, but it hasn't been easy picking up many shares without a wide spread being applied. I watch with interest. gla.
Keep it up. 30p by the end of the year? Certainly warrants it. gla.
I to am comfortable, even though I came in at 30p about 4 yrs ago I think. Was 60% down at one point. As they say no loss (or profit) until we sell. Confident of a good return in the long term and will wait another two years before I review my position. Unless something drastic/fantastic happens of course. gla.
Still waiting for the divi to filter through. Sp fairly static at the mo. gla.
It's ok, I didn't take offence - too thick skinned. In fact its all part of life's tapestry of learning. I find out new things about investing everyday on these bb's. Usually don't take any notice of all the advice being proffered and that still hasn't made much difference to my pf value as I always seem to be late to the party. SIM will come back to my stake, and more in time. That much I'm sure. It's just a need to be patient. gl.
methusala - I bought in here on the basis of the fundamentals. Didn't even give the share issue a thought other than checking out Ami Vizer's ownership/executive standing. Not concerned about long-term value as long as P&L performance stays good. Just feel that no-one is chasing shares and that is pegging back an undervalued sp. gla.
Any idea how much free float there is with SIM? There is a lot of capital tied up with major shareholders. Is this why we don't get much volume trading? I was sceptical about this in the past, but now begin to wonder. Thus: Cash in bank. No need to raise more through issue. No demand as current holders not selling. Therefore if no demand because the shares aren't on the market (see wide spread dissuading trades) then sp has no pressure to rise much. If this rings true then I may be waiting a while to realise anything against my 30p buying. Any views? gla.
Remains a great position for Current Assets. New sales will be a key factor here imo. Still, a solid business going foreword. gla.
Agreed - nothing much not to like rivaldo. It's a shame the market doesn't seem to agree with us. Long term growth here I think with steady progress y-o-y. gla.
Just a bump on the runway Jolly. Here's hoping though. gl.
And still the spread is over 13%. Determined to stop anyone interested in buying here. gla.
Yup - that's what I was alluding to Ian. Results last year were April. Jolly - also in past rns's there is some mention of being a preferred contractor I think. gla.
