I just tested a sale of 700,000 and was offered 3.06.

Not too disappointing even at the current 83p, having sold a nice chunck at an average of 121p (end of 2019 - early 2020) and then bought back in at 47p, whilst it was a shame that it's dropped back from scaping 100p in July one really shouldn't complain at the current 83p. It will go back up to over 100p in the not too, too distant future.

Agree totally, don't use a stop / loss unless absolutely necessasy; in 2015 I took a punt on some Glencore stock when they took a dive, bought in at an average of 94p, and on being lazy as I was heading off on holiday put a stop loss at 180p when they reached 200p thinking it would be a sensible back stop just in case. A drop over a weekend saw them being picked up at 177p on an out of hours trade and a rebound on opening on the Monday morning saw them back up to over 190.
I had kept a couple of thousand which are now showing a 513% profit on my original price. (equalisation payments included)

A quick check of yesterdays trades indicates approx 24,000,000 sold for £676,000 and approx 28,600,000 for £818,500 bought.

Some may well be noted as sales/ bought incorrectly and some of the bigger sales are possibly some profit trades, after all a 20% plus in 24 - 48 hours isn't too shabby.

Decent buying.... but some large sales in the last 15 minutes or so.

I was on an average SP of 34p having bought in during 2018 / 2019 and early 2020.
With some fairly substantial top ups and with my fingers crossed I brought back in when the BOD managed to push the price down and bought in again below 3p, and am currently a fraction below breaking even. It's definitely been squeaky bum time though. Hopefully those of us that have kept faith in the company will do between well and very well.

The other point is that if/when the company goes bust the bondholders own it , some might think that's their best option.

Which surely was potentialy the point of the situation that created the court case instituted by CA in order not to allow the BH's to take control of the company with the conivance of the BOD, purely speculation on my behalf and obviously not something that any right minded BOD or BH would consider doing.

Looking at the forecast projection (https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/brent-crude-oil) as opposed to the summary.

Brent crude oil is expected to trade at 74.07 USD/BBL by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. Looking forward, we estimate it to trade at 86.78 in 12 months time.

HH Thank you for your wise and sensible advice, though on the surface given in a not quite as humble an opinion as you would insinuate by using the initialism. I certainly would not castigate you for failing to give due recognition to the source document as it must be galling for you to read queries from those less observant in undertaking their own research than yourself.

I have taken your advice and read thoroughly the full year results, it made interesting reading and was well worth the effort.

Thanks HH for the details on which the contractual puirchase rates are based . It's one of the benefits of a BB that contributers with a far greater knowledge and a longer membership than those of us who have only recently joined are able to be directed to RNS posts that happened well over a year before.

I'd also expect it to be sold on contract, so the query really is at what price was the contract signed and if so does the recent fall in the spot rate mean anything as far as Hurricane's current load is concerned.

At what point does the value of the load get calculated, is it sold at a fixed future price on contract or is it sold spot at point of sale?
