I totally disagree with your post partly because it is not relevant or appropriate on a share forum. Yes, there have been a lot of atrocities and wrong doing in the past, but sometime you just have to forgive and forget, draw a line in the sand, and move on. Pulling statues down will not solve anything. My own archbishop, Welby, advocated reparation for the slave trade. Most of the descendents from those times are probably now dead. Are we gong to ask for reparation from Germany for their atrocities in two world wars when hundreds of jews and soldiers were killed. I, for one, think that Windrush was the worse thing that has happened to this country, but that is another argument for another day. Jesus taught us to forgive one another, and that is what we must do.
