Let us hope that this appointment isnt just a drain on resources and that he will get things done. There is so much potential here. it just needs someone with drive and someone not afraid to kick arses and realise Tom's potential. More importanly someone to try and get some value back from us long suffering PI's

I have held these for over 20 years and to say they have been disapointing in an understatement. The way the share price if heading south suggests that the game is nearly over. I hope that I am wrong. This company has, IMO, been extremely badly managed over the years resulting in more and more dilution of our holdings. It should have not been very labour intensive so where has all the money gone?

Although asset backing generously exceeds the share price, who would want to buy them with housebuilding in the doldrums?

This has been going on for some time, and I feel that the longer it does, the less likelihood of a deal. Hope that I am proved wrong.

It is all very well for the GOv to call for more housing but who will buy them? Mortgage rates are going up, existing properties are difficult to sell, and we have a labour shortage. I am looking to buy TW but fear that there is more downside to come, and I am not ramping.

I think that sauces should be sources. Personally I think it unlikely that we get another bid. RIP JDW. You have cost some of us an awful lot of money.

I am well under water with this one and suspect that I am not the only one. Hopefully with a new CEO the city may look upon it more favourably. It has a NAV 50% more than the share price and is yielding over 9%. THis share is probably one to grit one's teeth, sit tight, take the dividends and hope for recovery. GLA

Having held these and averaged down for a number of years, it looks as though we have turned a significant corner. Excellent resuslts and there is also the possibility of a bid from Lighthouse? GLA. Next milestone I feel is £4.

Having held these for a number of years it is sad to see the share price sinking as it is. IMO the company has had a bright future totally screwed by bad management. Let us hope that us LTH will get somehting back for our long term patience. GLA

Thank you for that. However I have been investing for over 60 years and always associated low PE ratios with "speccy" stocks such as small miners and companies whose earnings were uncertain. Whereas I take your point about news print etc, I still believe in the companies future, and think a fair value at present is £1 a share. That still leaves it on a fairly undemanding PE ratio. Just my opinion.

I don't think so. I have friends who run a property services company looking after estate agents lets. They said that that was the only revenue keeping so many agents afloat. Three-four bed properties are selling Ok but anything over that are not moving at all. Even flats are becoming a problem to shift. I feel that there are a lot of people on the sidelines waiting to buy, but are nervous at the moment. Hopefully property company shares have built in these factors. If not then they have further to fall. GLA.

Unless profits improve then dividend and yield will be under pressure. Homes may become easier to buy but it is likely that builders may have to reduce margins to sell them. Will be interested to see update tomorrow.

I think that they are all buys and then for some reason contrad off. I and many others I am sure, have held these for over 10 years. It has lurched from one crisis to another, not to mention the poor management. Let us hope that some time soon our patience will be rewarded. GLA

This has been steadily rising over the last few weeks. Is somebody building a stake do you think? I have held these for a number of years and have managed to average down, but am still slightly under water. A bid at say 400p would be most welcome.

I have been in/out a couple of times and have missed this latest good rise. However, and this is not sour grapes, I think that today's price is a SELL. IMO I feel there is now more downside potential than Up. Sadly, I cannot see an end to the war soon, as Putin doesn't know the meaning of the word compromise. He doesn't care how many innocent die, his main goal is getting back the USSR. GLA.
