Rast - This is the problem,
Have far down the road have they gone. When you make an 'offer' for a house, you don't have to pay much of anything to back out, even if the offer is accepted. Even commercially, until the deal is reviewed by legal teams there and any assessments done (surveys) to ratify what is being sold is what they are getting then, one again, no money has to be handed over. Maybe a small retainer in lieu of exchange.
This is my problem so far. Is the decision reversible if some issue raises or the BoD feel the climate is the wrong time (60% drop should have told them that).
