The court documents don't say half as much as what some journalists say. Of Course GSPC are going to 'deny everything' to start of with but the fact we are on round 3/4 shows that the judge ain't buying it.

Let's hope we see some director buys now and this thing get's moving north quickly over the coming days.

Apart from the fees issuance this was already previously advertised so shouldn't be much impact on the SP.

What you've said is wrong. There I said it. You clearly haven't looked at the court papers as you admit later on, you can't find them.

All I the information I have provided is in the public domain and doesn't take much intelligence to work out.

If they don't win this Thursday, the will win another day. Not sure what the jeopardy is here to be honest, GSPC will have to capitulate sooner or later.

If you are looking for a fast buck there are plenty of other stocks for that.

DS - Your suffering was predominately caused by previous poor management that had created complexities for which unwitting shareholders bore the brunt. This is a new team now who I feel have sorted a lot of the problems out.

I feel, and it also seems, that the GSPC hurdle is the last one to get over before OEX can really start to motor with this new team and a clean slate. You have to be careful that you are not comparing apples with oranges. That said, I really do appreciate the sentiment as I've been in similar situations with many other stocks like this (with varying degrees of success) but you have to remember, sooner or later GSPC's luck is going to run out. They have already had too many hearings for what seems to be a foregone conclusion in OEX's favour.

Unfortunately, if you read the court notes, this article is inaccurate on a number of points.

Of course GSPC will state these things but I note the article was from July. Had they presented evidence to support their assertions then it would have been thrown out pretty quickly. It hasn't and it seems that GSPC are playing for time but there are only so many 'stunts' you can pull before the court's patience runs out.

Just remember, this is india and it's the amount they are admitting too. It could be double that.

The government central bank pretty much bank rolls GSPC, hence the calls for it to be wrapped up (more than a whiff of corruption and bad accounting to boot). See previous articles.

HH - If these are kept in Treasury, I'm pretty sure that the intention will be to allow the uplift and take the profit once this china mess has come to an end. This would give them considerable profit (more than enough to neutralise any fines!) .

Vestor / Tossk - It's a mountain of debt for a company, especially one that is having calls for it to be allowed to go into administration.

The only problem is, they may not want to let one of the assets go that has the potentially to at least partially clear the debt.

That said, many of the right ups on their predicament by the Indian press do not mention Cambay and choose to focus on the offshore assets and the other third party arrangements. The OEX case has had next to no coverage in the press bar a couple of trade sites, so hopefully GSPC may let is slide in the hope they don't get any further heat.
