Not the figures I bought and sold at my friend :-) As I always hold £100k cash, my buying and selling might not be the same day.

I sold RR later on but replaced my cash i got the VUAG fund with.

RR I sold at £10.99 on 13/08/2025 I remember it as I wanted £11 and thought why am I being daft. I got £1099.14 , today it's £11.50 so under 5% rise.

My fund I got in the big dip :-0 13-06-2025 £83.98 today that's £100.30 19.28% rise.

I have enough money, but I am still making more money ! records hit again today pot wise and back holding >£100k in cash again.

look it's luck nothing more. I did not want RR in my SIPP any more, I like to sit on a bit of cash and the VUAG fund has blown my mind and beat all targets.

I hate funds, but I got lucky.

Food is under 5% margins.

What I DON'T get and they should give me a job is all the sale stuff inc shoes etc, is the smallest and largest sizes, this is ALL shops !!!

I try and buy a shirt as a normal guy sold out !! their computer model and the buyers in most retail shops have NO clue and don't seem to learn year after year as it's been the same for 40 years !!!!

Sale stock is S or XXL !! sizes in shoes are 6 or 12's , no 8/9/10s

this is the same in Next, BOSS, any shop selling cloths ! even cycle shops !

I looked into it, was going to take 12 to 15 years to get my money back and then you need a new battery again so zero gains.

on my sipp when I sold all my RR for £10.99 I bought a VUAG fund, that's now 20% up from June !

Then the big RR sell off for me at £11.31 to buy M&S at £3.33. 22% up.

Pot hitting new record highs atm. I still own 41% of RR in my Pot so very big in RR still but my moves away and been great moves to date to retire on.

I sold some yesterday at £11.47 and got more M&S at £4.02 eak !

We def see some profit taking from now till end of day though.

That's because banks kept putting up rates due to high swap rates ! So the swap rates come down so a few banks are back to where they were a few months back !

It will be a hold for Nov. And if we have a crap Budget they won't do it in Dec either, but that call it's quite late on in Dec and they prob hold again in Dec maybe 50/50.

Imo they will do the 1st one in 2026 which is Feb that's my bet as we area long way off the 2% targets and we prob won't hold that 3.8% due to GAS/Electric and water going up again, so it's very tight for a Dec cut.

Svend lgen is a div company, I don't buy these for growth and while it provides >9% is also one to hold esp in a SIPP . my Ave is £2.20 so I have growth in lgen anyway and my last 2 buy ins got me 9.3% and 9.1% div. steady money for me the last 5 years in divs, very happy.

£11 is not a great buy point ! even if we see £12 within 12 months that's only 9% rise, and we will see £11.30/£11.50 again quickly imo.

So then at £11.40 £12 is a 5.5% rise ! no thanks. I made 9% on BP in a few weeks ! and 20% up on M&S in a few months.

I sold ALL my SIPP RR a while back, best thing I did.
