Very few people have real wealth ie cash they can draw on, £1.6 mil to hand is just 0.04% people in the UK. The elite rich ie the billionaire count is actually falling in the UK now 156 people but it was about 180 people.

liquid wealth is a very rare few that does include Stocks and shares etc as that is Liquid.

I find the wealthycan talk money no issue, it's the pretend rich who seems scared to talk figures then say to people "it's showing off"

These people called it bragging when is more green eyes and their issue. My super rich friends ie £2 mil + can all talk figures no issue, and we are all happy for each other. People who moan about money are not rich, ie the ones who say "this meal was expensive etc" Rich people don't talk like that hence money don't come up in normal chats. But it does come up if we talk money for the right reasons. This is an investing forum, any one scared of talking money is in the wrong place or just not that wealthy so it don't sit easy with them if some of else says they make £40k today as an example.

I am up YTD that is investing !! I dropped £250k on war start. ! but I am up YTD :-) Thats was a paper money loss as I am up YTD as is any RR shareholder.

This is a forum for investing not the homeless or Trump. RR recovers fast, if you don't want to invest in them just sell them, this is not for you imo.

I am more a glass half full and YTD we are 9.49% up which is great and on track for me.

If you talk it down daily and are unhappy, you need to look at it another way.

As always have a balanced pot and be happy it's going strong and will be £15 year end or Feb 27 results.

Retirement_Plan i would say I had a bit of luck topped up RR at £12.50 sold BP last week for over £6

collected my Aviva Div, sold them for RR also at £12.50

Triple win. £50k + up what a difference 1/2 a day makes.
