I am somewhat bemused by your calculations CFC - where did the 4 come from?

Our shares although held are still free to trade

I was assuming that the Main men - i.e 75% holders would not trade their shares atm

Ammendment - If the Main Men hold 75% and we hold atm 13.62 total = 88.62% held by people who are unlikely to sell? Waiting to be shot down in flames :-)

Got my head round mkt capital now trying to work out other mkt indicators:-

P/E ratio, etc - anyone out there can give a clue (in English-laymans terms) would be a help!!!

Also noticed "GAP" days (when the price doesn't move) these are supposed to be significant.

My take on all this:-

a) mms will minimise the spread to single figures to encourage selling.

b) as news comes in get ready for very significant rises.

c) radar - this (in my opinion) will be the one to hold

d) anybody holding now would be wise to continue - even build?

e) I would like to thank everybody concerned for their encouragement over the last 14 months

MTL are producing with a mkt cap of £31m + $68.5m+ $5.2m (bank loan & accrued interest) =

£31000000+£52060000+£3900000 = £86000000 or £86m what other comanies are using £200m to produce - I think I will hold.

mk/cap is a function of shares in issue * price

i.e price .015*2071000000 = 31

To have a mk/cap of 200m the price would need to be 200000000/2071000000 = 9.6p Approx

Also if the shares not in public issue is 75% then 25% are trading on the market

I hold 10m which equates to 1.9% of trading shares so only 23.1% are trading on a daily basis

Anyone like to add their holding to make it more interesting?

Joking aside I far prefer it to stay stable rather than see the price dance around like a FIRECRACKER only to fizzle out in a pile of ashes.

Compromise and/or Viable are the two words I would prefer to hear used in regard to the refinancing deal (Haircut is completely in the wrong context as far as I am concerned).
