Hello everyone

For those who do not know me I have been in MTL for several years, seen the very lows and the money capturing highs (Used by the MMs)

I have gone from a day trader account to a SIPP and reap a good monthly take from it (As I am 77)

The recent rise prompted me to rethink my old philosophy of dips and spikes to use in my SIPP as money earns interest - so I sold half my MTL stock to hold as cash in my SIPP as you may all now realise this may have been the best temporary move I made

I still cannot believe it has gone done so far - a serious rebound seems due but a lot of money went in to be lost on this dip??

Seems to be a lot of movement into SIPPs

I'm fine, looking forward to summer and practicing my cake making skills and erecting a gazebo in preparation.

I did not think the figures needed explaining but:-

The figures are the monthly highs and lows, support etc, and give a good indication of the next months possible trend. I did not go back any further but I am sure the pattern will continue.

Today I am In the mood to show my full commitment to this AIM share.

I have sustained criticism that I sell and yet claim to be a Long Term Holder - I do not think there are many out there who claim and have sold some?

We all wait for the news and yet do not expect miracles - just progress.

The gold price is a considerable factor in our journey, yet it is but one out of many changeable factors of which our Captain is aware of and considers.

Following the latest RNS most of my queries were covered except dividends, We need to wait and hope.

Hello all,

As you may know I hold a day to day, share ISA and SIPP.

I am now (Next month) 77 so can use my SIPP ( Buy an annuity - etc).

I decided today to draw a regular income from it (as long as it lasts!)

It was not doing much to excite me so decision was made.

At present it will supplement my other pensions quite handsomely - and give me the enjoyment of seeing any increases extending the term of life.

I believe the time was right and hope for a sustained income from it.

Yes - I am a lucky fellow let's hope it lasts.

Any comments would be welcomed as this is the first time I have done anything like this!!!!!

I am here, and well, this share is like having rich parents:-

They always come up trumps when you need them.

You always look forward to xmas.

I do not now post much as I would be repeating myself all that know me know my message - Dips and Spikes.

A very useful share to have - but watch the spread - follow the charts.

Still in - and preparing for some more heavy buys.

Confessing that I have used this share would be fair.

It does what is needed for a slow build up of useful income, which I am using to convert a detached shop into four flats as a partner.

The first flat may be ready soon so money will retro-flow back into MTL.

I am not phased with the recent developments and hope to increase my holding very soon.

ok some have left - some have returned but I am curious to know who else is still here?

Finally, I realise I have been following a possible path to things I do not actually need.

The company of fellow investors was interesting and stimulating.

But you are all not "real", just persons who may be legit or not.

In a situation, as we have, with the gold price and the debt still not resolved it is no wonder that things are so quite.

There is nothing to really talk about except the garden?

The calm come before any storm and I firmly believe we are in for a bombshell of a news release which may be even double barrelled.

When you get to a certain age your mind wanders more and the world of possibilities increases.

Some are now picking up slowly, summer holidays - when they are over may give me some more good holdings.

All necessary processes from ground to market covered

Good relationship with landlord
