My one comment is the spread is too high to even think about it - ATM - but I have enough buffer to ride it so might just sneak in another 200,000 to tease the price.

Basically what s there not get enthused over in this share apart from boredom for the impatient.

It has all the right vibes but it is not lively enough for the greedy.

Time will tell - when you look at others this seems "Cool" share to be in

I think Jim sums it up - I am in the same boat - still here 75 and not complaining, I have found that money comes out of one share into another - You just have to have the right balance to keep stability - then when and if it comes big ones are a bonus.

Yes it will be the big 75 this 21st, still holding and still enjoying the ride - have reduced my holdings into different baskets but still have enough in here to make it worthwhile if it comes - as it will.
A long ride with many comings and goings - I still hang on to the "dips and spikes" as I am finding in various other shares.

My time for speculation is over as most of my investment is in ISA or SIPP
my SIPP matures in 13 days time but I am inclined to leave it -not draw on it - and play with the gains ;

Cannot resist a banter before the results, everything s looking so good and I must say we have not had many - anti posts, the price is fair atm for the debt situation and as we all know this should change rapidly one the figures are published.

Confessing my situation I am probably in for a while yet but at 75 next month and with a good pension and a property am not in the need of mega bucks, just need to feel how it goes - some in ISA, some in SIPP and a few in my day trading I can afford to play a little and be "risky" on the sells, but cute on the buys.

Quite a sensible spread today so good luck to all of you new and established, let the good times roll - have put feelers out on my new car - a Ford Kuga -hybrid - any comments would be welcomed.

forget the gold price - it will fluctuate but we have the other metals which correct me if I am wrong are rising

Hi all - and merry xmas

I have moved a few in and out and am now sitting with 4M - a bit lower then my 12M at the time of interesting dips and spikes that we had - in the "Purses Ready" time - but now the price is fairly stable.

The spread is interesting as it has been a high as 12% - leads me to think that it will not be long !!!!!

Yes prices are on the up, less for your money, the old Dickensian phrase comes to mind "!9 shillings and 11 pence income - 20 shillings outgoing = Misery ..... 20 shillings income - 19 shillings and 11 pence outgoing = Happiness"

Hello all,

Still have a 4g holding but wonder if this is the right thing at this time.

So many others, in different fields of interest, are rearing their heads with potential short -term profits.

I may sell a few to explore possible shorter term gains.

I never used to be a day trader but can see the benefit of realising some profit and coming back with more Wonga

My ploy now is "seasonal trading" with a float in the bank to capture potential movers as soon as possible.

I am not leaving the ship - just rationalising.

I , for one, believe this is a good support level.

If you believe the sells were sells I think not.

We are waiting for a catalyst which will propel us like rocket fuel into the next round of serious movement.

The board is quiet, no wonder - Covid, gold & summer holidays.

Good luck Jim, to think I actually had 12,000,000 at one time - but not a problem as I always do the calculations and am actually in profit from getting more baskets to spread the risk.

For me MTL has taken a bit of a back seat for the moment but that is the way all good investments - leave to mature.
