The app is great, love the look and feel although they need a decent copy writer as the pricing initially confusing. A minor point and easily rectified. I’m not surprised the price hasn’t moved, it was expected end of March so was already priced in.

Also, I find the 127% growth disingenuous given what the combined businesses did last year.

Read the note which is good. Not sure I agree with 127% growth to £10m forecast when MWG snd DVRG combined would’ve done £6m in revenue so really £10m is 66% growth. 127% my arse! 127% growth of £6m would mean a forecast of £13.62m.

I take comfort from the fact Mologic has given up manufacturing capacity for us, Affimers demonstrated to 300 times more sensitive than Abcam’s test but more importantly Conifer and other major holders who are massively in profit are holding. Remember only 1/4 of the money raised was for diagnostics. If the likes of Conifer are holding it works for me. Having a bunch of saddos, many without a position posting 24-7 makes me question their lives rather than my holding.

Have you seen the Innova test? So many fiddly parts to it and it was launched for professional use only but was granted EUA for home use. Given the avacta test is both easier to use (fewer parts so much smaller instruction leaflet) and easier to administer given it’s not targeting tonsils and upper part of nasal cavity I suspect we will also get EUA for home use. If not I suspect many of us will lobby gov and even the Good Law Project as our test is also more accurate so I can’t see it not being granted EUA for home use as a precedent is there. To be honest even if not for a while we will sell all we can produce as stated by the CEO.

DVRG reminds me of my beloved (not so much with Levy at the helm) Spurs, has lots of potential seems to have built momentum but rarely holds onto a lead!

We’re using Innova as we have stockpiled them, another error. I’m sure the gov doesn’t want more litigation from Good Law Project but I think it’s worth applying pressure to Jim Bethell who’s the minister for Innovation. Perhaps premature until we have a launched product but he’s all over twitter.

I suspect the easy and real money will be in OEMs and licensing deals. We get a slice (to the bottom line) of each test sold. If we only get to 5m domestically (I can’t see it being this low though) I suspect we will make 10s of £ms from OEMs snd Licensing deals.

They will get CE for home use I’m sure but it takes longer as the process is more onerous. In the meantime I can’t see them not being issued EUA for home use like Innova was. That would look terrible particularly given the ease of sampling, accuracy snd the fact you don’t need an engineering degree to actually conduct the test properly with all its kit.

We don’t have home use and nor did Innova who had professional use and was granted EUA. Given our test is more accurate and easier to use both in terms of getting samples but also a lot fewer bits of kit to actually do the test it would be odd for us to not also get EUA. I assume whilst that’s granted we’d still go through the process of getting home use CE for overseas.
