This is like a NeD or directors souse buying shares just before a massive contract lands. These contracts are in negotiation for months and known but it’s just off timing. There will not be a closed period. The results could land on Monday and all is fine, NOMAD etc will be fine. No way she or her husband will have inside info on results.

They will not be inside and the number crunching will be largely done externally and although they’ll have a rough idea when they will land it’s not certain but more importantly the results are not known at all so the RNS can still land at any time.

Travel-light I think you’ll find the Madrid partners tested the LFT before Omicron a VOC so suggesting Smith was forced to pause sales is false. The EU HUA was issued on the data provided (validated in Madrid) which would have been largely on the Delta variant. Avacta carried out further lab analysis on Omicron and paused once they realised sensitivity was reduced.

18 month low in share price, really hope the next RNS gets momentum back. They need a solid update and hopefully they have some positive news on what to expect this year. Even if H2 was poor they need some tangible news for this year. Hopefully CEO feeling the pressure and is set to delivery a solid RNS. Given the delay they’re surely waiting for a contract to drop.

The FDA is aware the UK used frozen samples which was not its approach. The US will go through its own process and won’t worry about UK but EU approval won’t do any harm.
