There’s no doubt this Co has failed miserable to properly commercialise its amazing tech and create shareholder value but things are turning around and with SKIN bearing the costs the 60% goes to the bottom line and they’ve caught up on backdated orders as well as 10 units gojng to China and you’d think countries that aren’t having their water cos look at this will be doing so shortly. They don’t wanna be left behind and the U.K. particularly given the mess they’ve made of C19 so far.
At £8m market cap (understandable given the false dawns and history) this has to be a bargain as they seem more focussed and the AI combined with Microtox is a game changer. Huge potential and I’m sure this is the beginning. This was 5p less than 12 months ago (with fewer shares) and assuming sales continue to come in as expected this will go a lot higher and quickly. Amazing tech which is protected.

Integumen and Modern Water have accelerated the integration of their respective water monitoring equipment and AI based contamination detection abilities following increased orders for Microtox equipment from Europe and SE Asia. This includes back fitting Integumen AI based capabilities to the 10 top-of-the-range Microtox CTM units to be shipped to China in the third quarter of 2020 (as announced on 23 December 2019). The equipment’s modular and expandable hardware has been re-configured to include RAWTest AI real-time alert solution, in order to expand the capability of the instruments to include detection of bacteria, nitrates and phosphates. The roadmap for this integration includes the ability to detect viruses such as SARS-CoV-2.

Before news is ludicrous. It could take 6 weeks to get the test/s to market (FDA will rush through) and ramp up production but beforehand we should hear about progress with Cytiva, other partners and manufacturers.

Development of a BAMS test capable of diagnosing whether a person has the COVID-19 infection at any specific moment is a quick process and the companies are aiming to have a BAMS test ready for clinical validation, regulatory approval and manufacturing in June. Adeptrix and Avacta are already in discussion with large-scale manufacturing partners to rapidly deploy this new high throughput test.

I have made it clear that we intend to partner the SARS-COV-2 spike protein Affimer reagents with several select companies to support antigen test development on multiple diagnostic test platforms. This will contribute most effectively to the urgent need to increase antigen testing capacity globally and maximise the commercial return to Avacta. Look at the balance sheet on last results, how would they accelerate things without a significant influx of cash. I was surprised Cytiva signed the deal with the balance sheet so I assume they were assured cash was coming.

Fair pint re RNS although I expect one as at the very least an update confirming Cytiva have the affirmers would be nice as that’s is expected (should’ve been sent last week) and not material as such.

I’m betting on an RNS at 7am tomorrow or Weds ahead of the investor and analyst presentations. I imagine there’ll be an update on Cytiva and who knows we could hear of another partner. I’m sure Cytiva will want to get this applied ASAP and like AVCT beat expectations.

Not really. If you’re testing to see if someone has the virus you can use saliva. You wouldn’t use it to see if someone had the virus so can go about their business as it were.

Goes to show how good saliva is to use as an antigen test.

Who would sell on the back not that RNS, any fund banking a massive profit. Many funds are nursing heavy losses in their portfolios and their modus operandi is to bank profits when they can especially now.

I was surprised to see Milton adding a chunk when the share price was so high, paying over 4 x what they had before, bodes well albeit strange!

Milton added nearly 3.5% taking its holding from 4.87% to 8.13% and the threshold was crossed on 24th so they were adding big numbers at circa 90p and they’re massively up anyway so very odd for a fund to add rather than sell at a massive profit.

Indeed and rhetoric is positive and particular with MWG it needs to be backed up with revenue. Most know the tech is fantastic but years of not generating revenue has irked many and rightly so but a things a turnaround is happening as it did with Integumen. A 48% increase in MWG Q1 orders is good (would be nice to know what the figure is) and I imagine increased sales will continue and with SKIN bearing the manufacturing costs before profit share hopefully MWG can generate cash and really illustrate a corner has been turned. Market cap at the mo is crazy and any further drops I’ll have to conjure some more cash to add.

Couldn’t agree with you more. I’m also in both (SKIN for over 12 months and MWG the last couple). Both with massive futures and the £3m Rinodrive acquisition by SKIn looks cheap at half the price.
