@maybe-tomorrow - the current disruption to helium from Qatar provides a immediate opportunity to companies that are producing, or about to produce, helium. However, the likely shortfall in production over the next 2 - 5 years because of damage to Ras Laffan could benefit companies such as QHE. In the longer term, say more than 5 years end users may decide that helium supplied from potentially less volatile jurisdictions may be more attractive. However, as someone who has been around the block a few times, it never ceases to amaze me how often people choose to ignore the precedents / warnings from earlier events and think "it will be different this time".

The shortfall in supply appears as though it may be prolonged. If the drill(s) are successful, GEX could have a significant role to play in providing stable long term supplies.

The testing delay is disappointing because this happened with JS1 & 2. There were problems because of fines, but on 28/04/25, an RNA was issued which stated that further flow testing will recommence when clean-up of the wells is complete, all of which are anticipated to be completed in the next 6 - 10 weeks, i.e. by June / July. Then, on 17/06/25, an RNA was issued stating the well clean up and flow testing program for the JS1 2& 2 is to commence in mid-July and is scheduled to be completed in early-August.

I will continue to hold for the time being because I believe in the potential, but like others on here, I was disappointed when I watched the presentation and was made aware of a number of the present position on other issues that could have a material impact on the rate of progress.

TAJ may well give an interview to address concerns that are being raised, but my confidence has been reduced. The two major factors that will restore my confidence are a good resource number and the establishment of a regulatory framework to enable PLSR to progress towards production.

Disappointed the flow testing will not be starting until late March / early April when the 09/01/26 RNA stated "Pulsar is preparing for a coordinated testing program anticipated to commence in early February 2026."

Don't raise expectations and then fail to deliver without giving an explanation.

Kaeren - glad to hear you are Ok after your accident. Your post sounded positive so well done. Based on my experience, a positive attitude aids a good recovery.

Based on previous drilling rates, they should be beyond the planned total depth of 3,000ft.

An update should be coming soon and hopefully it will continue the good news flow.

It will be interesting to see if there is to be a JS8 and where it will be located.

An update confirming the well testing has commenced would be appreciated.

GainsOnly - the fact that PLSR is not a producer is likely to limit gains associated with a disruption to the global supply of helium. What will lift the price is a continued flow of positive news re JS7, the EWTs, any further exploratory wells and the resource figures.

LW - I believe the current situation is:

The Iranian President has said that Iran will stop attacking neighbouring countries unless they attack Iran, but the IRGC has subsequently stated that neighbours won’t be targeted unless they host or support US / Israeli attacks, in which case their territory may still be struck.

I'm not sure how much confidence can be drawn from these remarks; it may depend on the frequency and intensity of further attacks on Iran.
