Big K - you mentioned earlier that BRES had not featured in the Sunday Roast 2026 picks, but Charles Archer has just published his picks and BRES is in there as a potential buy out.

"Blencowe has its DFS, so it’s simply a case of either building this thing (or selling). I’m 50:50 on where that lands, but a sale at some point seems very possible."

Panman - On 17/01/24 Burrows said that the cost of the PSE test was $1,000 which would give a 90% margin. Perhaps a lower margin would generate more interest and sales, and provide more data to validate the test.

A nice steady increase in the SP; I wonder if we will be getting an update before Xmas.

My 03/12/25 thoughts on news before Xmas were:

"- the test results from JS3 & JS4

- JS5 - partial depth pressure reading

- TD at JS5. Based on previous drilling my estimated completion date (possibly a stretch target) is 24/12/25, which assumes there are no issues. It will be impressive if this is achieved, but early in January will be fine with me.

Being very bullish, updates on other leases would make it a very good Xmas."

We have already had lease news, so what is next?

It will all depend on the contract terms; rig operators usually carry adverse weather risk.

The AETC method is energy intensive, but the proximity of hydro power to the Norway downstream facility could provide an alternative approach. My preference would be to minimise the use of chemicals; if they are able to avoid the use of hydrofluoric acid that would be helpful. Minimising reliance on Chinese systems / technology is also a preferable position. Let's hope they achieve their goals.

For anyone wanting to look at alternative production processes, it is worth researching American Energy Technologies Co (AETC). Their process upgrades natural graphite primarily by high-temperature (thermal / electrothermal) purification followed by downstream shaping (spheronization), milling, classification and surface treatments — i.e. they purify first with ultra-high-temperature furnaces (no halogen/acid in their reported runs), then produce battery-ready spherical purified graphite and coated/doped powders.

Maybe GROC are looking at something similar; cheap hydro power makes this type of process an attractive option and is environmentally friendly.

I wasn't aware that AET is a viable alternative to Chinese companies; this should de-risk the project and improve the appeal to the US.

If one accepts that the market price is typically 15 – 20% of the NPV @ the DFS stage, the estimated value of the market cap is c$150m, or £115m. Using the fully diluted number of shares, say 520m, the resulting share price is 22p. For me, the potential is still there; I guess we will just have to wait for a funding announcement. Am I missing something?

39 of the 231 drills from the recent programme have been assayed and included in the JORC. The remaining (completed drills) will be assayed and included in a JORC update in 2026.

PI - what evidence do you have for saying "everything is winding down for the festive season"?

I would prefer more information, but as a LTH, the delays are not yet of any concern to me.
