Derek Brown director of Technology Research at Seymour Pierce believes the market's tax rate assumptions for 2008 are too high; Autonomy should be able to repatriate a substantial portion of its profits to the UK, where corporation tax is falling by 2 percentage points. As ever fantastic background work, some of this I already knew but the examples you gave were very informative and much appreciated. I guess like me you are eagerly anticipating the results due out this month. I remember reading a report a short time back saying that QTI were flat out with orders and were experiancing a good continuation of growth, since then they have issued Leakfrog to there main customers and utilities. I belive QTI will experiance unprecidented growth potential in the coming months, but can you tell me as someone who has met Michael Tapia , do QTI have the ability and capacity to cope with this growth ? Do you think that Thames as developement partner will aide them with this growth or perhaps step in and take them over.

News just released of deal to provide AT&T with product layering package. This will surely be massively earnings enhancing. Is the recent large contracts in any way connected to Zantaz incorporation, anyone know ?

Great work Meysey, but in much simpler terms what does all this mean and is this Calvyn Gardner truly credible. This has been a real dog of an investment for me and are at the point of getting hoofed out of my portfolio for some more HER shares ( a Class A mining company with a really hard working board of directors ). Do you think there is any mileage in holding for another fortnight untill after the BRM board meeting

I think the only way news will affect the sp is if they have got a whole raft of orders through from the free tials of Leakfrog that they sent out to all the major water companies in Sept. Which could well be the case as Thames Water ordered instantly at the end of their 3 month trial period and have benefited from the system since as reported since.

I know that everyone seems to want the company to release some news to the market on Leakfrog and the results etc. but perhaps now is not the best time to do it. With the market confidence being so brittle it seems that any good news released is just swept aside in the habitual selling waves we get every week now. I hold apart from these EMED which have released many items of great news during this last month all of which after the inital buzz becomes quickly discounted, so I say let QTI take there time release news at the appropriate time and then we can ride the crest of the wave.

What makes you belive that this process does not apply to Brinkley

Today is the much anticipated day for the results from DRC and yet there has been no statements released as yet. Does anyone know why this is , Could it be that each mining company will be informed individualy and therfore the share holders will only find out by issue of statement to the stock exchange in a fer days ??

If you hold stock in this already I would say that it's got to be worth holding on , especially at the current levels which have had all the bad news form the license complications factored in , Brinkley are not a one trick pony and are not dependent on the DRC debacle going there way as their interests in SA look to be solid and with this in mind the current sp looks to be oversold .

Just discovered this article on another site which is taken from mining weekly http://www.miningweekly.co.za/article.php?a_id=121119 Brinkleys mining contract sounds as though it is more safe than most others as it is one of the most recently issued and is not one of the more dubious type given over during the civil war or passed on from another mining company in the late 90s .Untill the Govm. release there final report it's all just consensus which we can draw on from industry experts but if the opinion of the indutry rag is correct there should be some positive play on the horizon for the brave.
