hi mia - on advfn you state that the new machine will not need FDA clearance - AN said that most of the questions in the AIR were 'downstream' - but surely a change in the process technology would need a new submission - albeit a cheaper one...?

totally agree miavoce, todays price for me is a 50% hike on where the SP would have been without Jupiter, so yes, a little bit of FDA priced-in, but not much. The other point is, folk are seeing FDA approval as the key price-inflection point, when it is really only the very beginning - yes, as PJT says, we will need more clinical contracts (part of the appeal of FDA is the turbo boost it will give to these) but let's not forget the huge revenues stemming from Px units and cassettes being sold to every medical institution in the western hemisphere worth its salt. I agree we will see 100% on FDA day, or the following - the question is to what degree investors will sell on that news and disappear. In time we know they will all miss out, but it remains a short term consideration... GLA

I’m pleased they have moved on from the Covid trial - results were going to be compromised anyway. Getting back to what they do best.....

Yuyu, in normal circumstances FDA response to an AIR could be as fast as 6 weeks - anecdotally, the delays they warned Angle about are less severe - so strap yourselves in. Judging by recent replies from IR , there’s more news brewing in the meantime.

MMs occasionally allowing the bid to slump to see if they can hustle some more shares...

I suspect the market also wants to know about the AIR resubmission before it rewards this RNS....

the easy answer is that if SBTX do as well as we think they will, OPTI's 25% will be worth more than the entire company! That situation can't last.

absolutely JW. I meant FDA approval of course - and even then I'm not saying it won't spike 100%. The point is, "years down the line" this will be mega. BUT, each to their own - it depends on your time frame. I have given myself (and Angle) 3 more years before I'd like some cash back to do other things than work. Even then I'll leave a chunk in because of where the company is headed.

ok, well I definitely got that wrong then! I did manage to sell 10% at 83p though, and happily put it all back in at 69p, so not a bad day if you believe in having more shares...

agreed, there is a bit of 'certainty' being priced in here - however, the old house broker target was already 150p, with Trinity now weighing in with 225p pre-FDA, so it is hardly dramatically priced-in. It will likely still double on the day, as all the more cautious iis pile into the potential, supported by more clinic contracts and Nasdaq etc...

Smart, you are not being very smart. This is NOT a binary bet. Clinical take-up is more valuable than an FDA approval (though I'm not disputing the kick it would give the SP). As more and more major pharma come to Angle for their cancer analyses, so the Parsortix word will spread, and, FDA or no, it will soon be in every hospital and research centre in the western world.
= £10 + per share. FDA just turbo boosts the roll-out... the only 'binary' is the timescale.

Ward, most of us on here know the markets well enough to be wary of predictions, but as Spark says, Angle would become the only company in the world to have an FDA approved device for liquid biopsy, the market for which is truly enormous (£100B has been bandied around). I therefore can't see the SP doing anything less than doubling on approval, but Bojo is right, those who see that as a value inflection point and take profits are missing the true potential. FDA is only the beginning - the CEO has stated that US investors (who bought in at 60p) are looking for 10X returns, and many on here think that £12 per share is too cheap if a takeover approach was made. Read through the peer research to see for yourself why....
