Thornogson- quite right. I'd rather see employees tied in to the company in this way. It helps ensure their inbuilt knowledge of the country, its systems , personalities etc are working to all our advantage as we're all driven by self interest. It also says to me that 4.8p wiull be cheap pretty soon!

Ninesandy- but aren’t we funded for at least a 2nd drill in Block 5 as the licence runs out in June next year and hence too late to really move forward.

Dozzawba - like you I can't see any other logical explanation for such a trip. Certainly not the " throw us off the scent" reference to:- " Discussions on changes to the Production Sharing Contract (PSC), on the proposed work programme and on fiscal terms have been completed. This part of the process involved a visit to the UK and to the Isle of Man by representatives of MMHI and MRPAM and we were honoured to be accompanied on the trip to the Isle of Man by the Mongolian Ambassador to the UK. " Then a new co is registered !! Its more like a JV formation with possible new financial backing and at arms length.

I would rather we wait a few more weeks or couple of months to get this bureaucratic process repeated and have an unassailable LP in place than risk any challenges to it by activists etc at a later date . It’s all new to the MG and it seems there May be more to it too in that I suspect the PSC discussion in IoM were actually more like a MG forming a JV with PM and the relevant ministries on that trip needed to sign docs and also distance themselves from the LP approval in order to be transparent. Just my view .

You tell me why 18 days after Mrpam & Ministry of Heavy Industry and Mining fly all the way to IoM we get a new company registered PM Energy Ltd yet we already have a JV partner for newable energy projects

Doz - or it’s a New Co JV for a Farm In / off take agreement by MG - giving us the funding to develop the field and using PC facilities at arms arms length because MG saw them getting too close to us. Thereby securing an interest in the supply for the refinery- just pure speculation of course
