Yes investor33 it has been a testing time holding this and very much a question of “ keeping the faith” so to speak. But in many ways I’ve been in the WOS camp of do your research and have faith in that which since the H1 discovery led me to believe this would eventually one through although I certainly underestimated the bureaucratic paperwork in this backward country. Investor33- very similar to yourself too . My average is 4.15p didn’t get caught quite so bad as that but when I had cash available to stock up I went for more yet it coincided with so many false dawns followed by more delay upon delay. Now I console myself with the thought that if I wanted to buy any large amount the price would have risen against me .

I’m fairly confident we’ll see the DQE JV announced in a few weeks since it’s been on the cards for some time and obviously could only be progressed to final signature as and when the land access permit is resolved. I think it all suits PC well insofar as it makes sense commercially got the under capacity they have at their refinery and it generates profit for their contracting division- plus seeing it ramp up as a JV gives them a better partnership image than they’ve had before , having upset the Mongolians before. Maybe even leading to a bid in a couple of years !

Good luck or rather well done got keeping the faith ! It’s been tough at times but we’ll be rewarded now !

Doc83- try to drop the bitterness , cheer you , try a bit of positivity for a change . We’ve had a good RNS . It all improving. Try forget knit picking over old predictions. Just because others are more optimistic about life , the future of this stock etc than you appear to be able too ( perhaps it’s just your nature) but forgive , forget , move on and try a bit of HOPE about the stock . Even if not all we hope for comes to fruit it’s a better way to live and to invest .

But now we’re on the road to continual improvement and a big rerate reward. Similar number of shares 828k acquired steadily over 4.5 years ie just before Heron and Gazelle in 2019 . A rocky road for sure but now in transition from explorer to producer- which is huge . And solus favoured in country position to boot !

Great post WOS- I too didn’t realise the Governors were appointed by the central government. He is now exposed and and on his way out .

Prof :- in a video presentation by MB 15.02.23 at 15.30mins he states they just identify and project manage the renewables projects they work up to being either " flipped" or funded. They're just using their in contry contacts and in house staff much like a consultancy.

Oh dear ! The Stain on humanity is being his usual waste of space I see !!

Garym..... WOS called the RNS in July within 24 hours . Its the one about the Cabinet signing off the land access as " Special Purpose Land " because its seen as a project of national importance!! Obviously that was subject to fine detail like herder compensationand a redrawn map with correct boundary or two shown on plan.

Ibiza , thanks for posting the reply you got from PM, however, they couldn't really say much else outaside an RNS since to imply otherwise would be against the Nomad rules:- hence if you lkook at the wording is past tense " ... the bureaucratic delays have help up............ " It doesn't give us any particular current insight as that would be against the rules

and so so so so close.

When it comes it'll go bang and we'll be the " go to company" for oil and energy in Mongolia

( aside from PC of course but they're a given and we'll be environmentally the more acceptable)
