Yeah i dont doubt they expected some gas but its the volume encountered that was a surprise vs other wells in the area. Personally delighted they have sacked off the crytpo mining idea and hopefully the existing infrastructure can brought back into service.

Yeh page 22 is spot on. Looks like they may be able to flare whilst waiting for report for bringing the existing pipeline back into service etc?
Personally think 3 wells by year end is going to be tight but optimistic the two that really matter will be done!

When they drilled 16-2 they weren’t expecting the gas so I’d imagine they were permitted to flare at that stage rather than buying carbon credits? Maybe thats why this is coming back on as an extended well test rather than “production”. After all they have a lot of information to gather from it to optimise the well!

The last RNS seemed to me to say that the immediate focus was on 16-2 extended production test so I'd expect there to be an announcement about that before anything on permits for the three wells?

Personally dont think this is a big “if”. The cane creek reservoir is as good as a dead cert to up the 2P reserves to +30m bbls. I think its a 50% COS on the C9 target which they already know has moveable hydrocarbon and arguably has a better reservoir structure than cane creek. Exciting times!!

The only way to deal with the share at this price is to buy more, lots more. Absolute gift!
