What ‘sizeable’ sells do you see? I can’t see any.
Yesterday’s was a pretty hard hit for Oiler’s , a lot of companies have had a nice little bounce back today though, good on Echo for not following the crowd! :/
The only silver lining down this low is any good news should surely have quite an impact on the SP...
Comments from Alliance news:
(Alliance News) - Oil & gas company Echo Energy PLC on Friday said production in Argentina has been in line with expectations since the acquisition of a 70% stake in the Santa Cruz Sur assets.
The company also said it has extended its GBP1.0 million loan with Spartan Fund Ltd - due to be repaid on March 9 - by two years. In connection with the extension, Spartan Class O, a sub-fund of Spartan Fund, has been issued 3.6 million warrants at 1.4 pence each, with an expiry date of March 9, 2022.
The stock was trading 15% lower at 0.85p each on Friday morning in London.
Echo Energy said that production at Santa Cruz Sur from November 1, 2019, to February 29 reached 298,140 barrels of oil equivalent including 67,823 barrels of oil & condensate and 1,382 million standard cubic feet of gas. During the period, an aggregate net 215 million standard cubic feet of gas was utilised in the field for fuel and power.
In February, two cargoes of oil and condensate were sold, with cumulative sales of 33,424 barrels at an average sales price of USD47.90 per barrel of oil.
The company said it delivered produced gas to customers at an average price of USD2.72 per million british thermal units.
Separately, Echo said that due to recent movements in oil prices and the potential for volatility in the short term, it intends to secure an additional unsecured standby credit facility, initially of GBP400,000 and up to GBP1 million.
As at the end of February, the company had cash balances of around USD1.4 million. It said it expects to receive additional revenues before the end of March.
Maq, I simply said the time the US office opening time doesn't dictate when news is released because you posted and I quote "US offices are open now, expect the news anytime!!" which i felt was a bit misleading.
I don't just depend on an RNS? Not sure where you got that from.
Any who, good luck with your investment here also.
The company seeking FDA approval and that company opening and closing market is the important thing. Whether it's US office working on the FDA approval, China office, Indian office, wherever, it makes no odds. This companies market opens and closes on UK trading time. Regulatory news will adhere to UK regulations. If for example it just so happened approval was complete during US office time the company have a certain amount of time to compile the news and release.
Jez, I think you need to have quick check on the definition of Karma. Unless i'm wrong, there is little to no comeuppance for the ones running these companies. It's us the PI's that get burnt. So your sentiment doesn't sit very well.
On reflection guys, slight chance of a little bounce? A buy today and a sell in the next day or two might recover a couple of £. Not too sure i have the minerals for such a transaction though.. or the resources for that matter! And would probably just leave it in there if there was a bounce anyway! LOL

We really do need a miracle to be able return to the dizzy highs we were once at.
Thousands and thousands of hard earned £‘a just squandered, but hey ho that’s the risk you take investing into high risk exploration.
Should probably get out before this gets ripped apart and drifts lower and lower but already at a huge loss and can’t really see the point.
It’s certainly not the end but the powers that be will use this to batter the SP and the low volumes and interest has just got worse imo. We need a quick turn around but can’t see that being possible.
Long road to recovery if at all

Healthy and welcomed speculation.
Someone is certainly loading up and seemingly attempting to do it under the radar, I share your speculation perspective, there's not any other reasons i can think of that someone would buy into any share other than, buying because they are just hopeful for a return based on what's public knowledge or this buying activity could be because someone knows something we don't... Which still compliments the first possibility.
I'm still very much cautious here and haven't done any topping up for sometime, this share has been particularly 'leaky' and although MH does run a tight ship the pattern has always been, slight rise pre-news (positive news), slight rise if any on day of news, trickle back down as quickly as the day after and then back to a low SP with little to no action thereafter.
Based on this pattern which seems to have repeated itself for a good couple of years gives good reason why I am still on the fence.
We haven't seen any rise into this news rich period, apart from this 100k buyer and a couple of big(ish) trades this last week we have seen very little volume, apart from a few this company isn't even attracting much talk, which is rare on AIM! And I think we all know that the MM's will always be one step ahead of PI's, so we are either going to pull off something that is a bit of an anomaly and catch everyone out with some brilliant news or the reason this is being so lacklustre is because all those in the know see no reason this should be trading any higher...
But then there's the tiny little bit left in me still bursting with 'this is the one' perhaps we are just getting on with drilling, testing, proving, stimulation etc maybe we have slipped under the radar, maybe we see no reason to do any PR and Investor relations as we are just going to let results do the talking, maybe we are just under-loved and the patient here are going to be rewarded. We have assets that have the potential to get us to that mid-cap exploration valuation, many success stories are able to reflect on the very state we are in right now...
That's my thoughts out loud and where I am at with ECHO, speculation, optimism and caution.

Always reading from the sidelines and just wanted to note that speculation and ramping are two vastly different sentiments.
Unfortunately, there’s been little actual topics to discuss here, so some healthy speculation isn’t a bad thing. Chuck in a bit of optimism and all of a sudden you’re a ramper *sigh
If you don’t speculate or have any optimism I’m really curious as to what you are doing here, invested or not..?
As much as I miss the excitement of a ramptastic RNS I'm starting to get used to these over cautious updates now. As long as we deliver there is nothing wrong with being as reserved as we are, as the results will then be all we need to see a north SP trajectory. However if we are not so fortunate it's going to tough to produce any sort of liquidity. It's important for these companies to every now and then give MM's, PI's etc something to buy into... But hey, my blood pressure isn't complaining and definitely taking positives from recent progress.

I wish I could sell something that had a net loss of 2.5mill in a year for 7mill.
Obviously they have plans to either generate more revenue or cost cut as they don't need to acquire something to lose more money.
See how it pans out.
Just like the SP, not overly excited about it.
Same here Mark, not entirely sure why they would place when we already know we are fully funded for the next lot of work coming up. Also, no need for a speeding ticket, this company was way oversold and undervalued, a correction northwards has been way overdue! The price action this week from around 2.5 to where we are now is nothing really. This should be double where it is now pre-drill.
