Lumbedee, great post. We can assume ESS sale talks are at an advanced stage. ESS valuation @ £500 million is over double Capitas current mkt cap. Proceeds would go some way to remove the uncertainty hanging over shares. .60p sp is not unreasonable.

No news on ESS sale. One must assume management are still talking to interested parties and that price is matching their £500 million expectations. Correlation between Schroders rapid stake building and CVC rumoured takeover reported in Mail cannot be overlooked. IMHO action is needed for all stake holders soon.

Schroders increased shareholding is designed to influence the direction the company takes. What will that be? I believe Schroders would be reluctant to go down the refinancing dilution route. What I see coming down the track are asset sales or entire company being sold. IMHO sooner rather than later. Thats why we a seeing this almighty shake
