"looks like 2 LFT's approved in the latest update , both chinese!!"
Yep. The published data for both suggests they're not as good as ours (or some of the other UK-made tests).
"RegulatorUK - Mr Knowitall, in Procurement, knows it all and yet still invested. There was NO RNS detailing all as per this link."
That's not what I said. Reading comprehension clearly isn't your strongpoint...
Stick to scratchcards - you'll lose less of your dole money that way.
They did - if people bothered to read the RNS properly... and understood the basics of the business.
@JudgeDredd
ODX getting rid of Alva does not equate to ODX getting rid of LFTs.
And they were manufacturing LFTs *before* the pandemic (as anyone who understood the business would know)...
"Regulator, I am aware of that and the point I was making is that approvals are now coming through the system."
Are they? A couple of approvals of PCR tests (which aren't exactly in short supply) after four weeks of nothing doesn't exactly suggest that UKHSA and MHRA have addressed their collective incompetence in managing the CTDA process - particularly when it is LFTs that are needed more than anything...
Both the Novacyte and Yourgene (sp.) approvals were for PCR tests - not LFTs.
*'those' rather than 'methods'...
“ Regulator Yes we can read but we need to be told of new strategy going forward before fundraise,as all trust has gone”
It’s fairly clearly laid out in the RNS.
They also have to balance off what is disclosed with not disclosing information that would give a competitor an unfair advantage. It’s something methods of us who work with listed organisations understand all too well.
"alonas - there is defo something they need working capital for so why not tell us what is going on?"
I assume you can read?

Worth noting that as 16.00 today, UKHSA and MHRA have not approved any Covid LFTs for public sale under the CTDA regulations, and the exemptions run out on 28 February.

Scrapping free tests without tests available for public purchase would be criminally incompetent...
"Are you still invested here regulator?"
Yes. Why?

Interesting if correct (and there is no reason to doubt it). After all, to date the UKHSA and the MHRA have not approved any LFTs for public sale under the CTDA process and the CTDA exemptions expire in two weeks...
"Cult of Covid
The Covidians aka losers who belive in a fake virus and take 3 jabs"
Another f**kwit to green bin...
Didn't they say the same thing last week? And the week before?
"So is the NHS rumour tender contract that’s being doing the rounds on boards and Twitter now got the final piece of the jigsaw?"
It's bo110x!
You're conflating testing types.
ODX's test is not an test for HIV infection (which is what the push in the UK is about).
It's a test for CD4 levels, which is used in the management of treatment once HIV and AIDS has been diagnosed. It's a non-laboratory test aimed at LMI countries where such facilities are limited - it's not a test that would be used in the UK health system, as lab-based testing is freely available.
Dr Micho's mummy doesn't allow her little boy to go to the bookies...
The reality is that today's announcement is purely about Johnson pandering to the Tory extremists in the Covid Recovery Group, as he tries to cling on to his job as further evidence of his rule-breaking emerges.
As the media have pointed out, neither SAGE nor NERVTAG appear to have published anything in support of these moves (which you would expect if they supported them).
Anybody who thinks that Covid is over, that the need for testing has gone away, or that the UK is emerging from the pandemic, is a fool. The WHO has been clear - now is not the time to let down our guard. Particularly as vaccination in LMI countries is patchy and faltering.
"Is FDA News connected to the American Government FDA ?. I googled fdanews.com and it appears that the two are not connected."
You're correct - FDA News is not connected with the USFDA. It's a commercial news/PR company.
USFDA news is published here: https://www.fda.gov/news-events/fda-newsroom
