I'm sorry but where is the evidence these were deadlines set by the company that weren't met? I see a lot of assertions these boards about what has or hasn't been said which doesn't actually, when looked at, stack up....

To get as many potential suppliers onto the framework, in order - when something is required - the capacity is there. Being on a framework is no guarantee of getting an order - particularly with this current administration.

Avacta doesn't have European approval. It's just (finally) one step close to CE marking their test - but that has yet to happen.

Once it is CE marked, they will need to submit it for marketing authorisation in the EU and the UK (the UK is accepting CE marking until 2022). They will also need to submit it for assessment by PHE Porton Down... or not.

They may choose not to submit it to Porton Down and just rely on overseas sales.
